Nice clean looking build!๐๐ -
Good catch guys!๐ Reminds me of the time I sanded the fender welting off my Jag e-type thinking they were mould seams.๐ณ I probably spend as much time googling images now as I do actually building.

Nice plan. I am slowly getting started on mine so I will definitely follow along!๐

Thanks Ron. I gotta open my eyes!๐ฌ Itโs from this IMC Cougar ll that I work on off and on. It looks kinda like this one from a โ57 Fairlane. -

For those who like too much informationโฆ.This particular caliper reads measurements in 1/128ths of an inch apparently.๐ณ The main scale (ruler) is marked off in 16ths. There are 8 spaces on the โvernierโ scale at the top of the movable jaw (8x16= 128) so each graduation equals 1/128 of an inch. The first โ0โ mark is just shy of the 2-1/2โ mark, so 2-7/16โ (2-56/128โ) is the measurement to be added to. The 7th โvernierโ graduation mark lines up the best with a graduation on the main scale (16ths) so 7/128ths is added to the 56/128ths for a total of 2-63/128ths. 1 divided by 128=approximately .0078x63=.492 So this measures 2.492 by this caliper. I measured it with 2 other calipers: Cheap Vernier= 2.492โ Dial caliper= 2.496โ Digital caliper= 2.493โ So this cheapo caliper is pretty darn accurate to two decimal places. My brain hurts now, so I think I will stick to my dial and digital units.

Beautifully done Bob!๐ Your 3d printed wheels nicely complement the package.๐ -
Fabulous work on the exhaust system Daniel. And your lathe work on those brake discs is something I envy. I have one of those chinese lathes but donโt have the skills to do that kind of intricate work.๐
