  2. โ€œDohโ€ is best accompanied by a self inflicted sharp smack to the forehead.

  4. Nice clean looking build!๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜Ž
  5. Good catch guys!๐Ÿ‘ Reminds me of the time I sanded the fender welting off my Jag e-type thinking they were mould seams.๐Ÿ˜ณ I probably spend as much time googling images now as I do actually building.
  6. Nice plan. I am slowly getting started on mine so I will definitely follow along!๐Ÿ˜Ž
  7. They certainly liked their BLING back then!๐Ÿ˜Ž
  8. 1967 Camaros are one car that I wouldnโ€™t mind owning.

  10. Thanks Ron. I gotta open my eyes!๐Ÿ˜ฌ Itโ€™s from this IMC Cougar ll that I work on off and on. It looks kinda like this one from a โ€˜57 Fairlane.
  11. Found this on the carpet while looking for something else that I dropped.๐Ÿฅด I donโ€™t recall ever seeing it previously. Anyone know what it belongs to? Thanks!๐Ÿ™‚
  12. Entirely true your suspicions may be.

  15. For those who like too much informationโ€ฆ.This particular caliper reads measurements in 1/128ths of an inch apparently.๐Ÿ˜ณ The main scale (ruler) is marked off in 16ths. There are 8 spaces on the โ€œvernierโ€ scale at the top of the movable jaw (8x16= 128) so each graduation equals 1/128 of an inch. The first โ€œ0โ€ mark is just shy of the 2-1/2โ€ mark, so 2-7/16โ€ (2-56/128โ€) is the measurement to be added to. The 7th โ€œvernierโ€ graduation mark lines up the best with a graduation on the main scale (16ths) so 7/128ths is added to the 56/128ths for a total of 2-63/128ths. 1 divided by 128=approximately .0078x63=.492 So this measures 2.492 by this caliper. I measured it with 2 other calipers: Cheap Vernier= 2.492โ€ Dial caliper= 2.496โ€ Digital caliper= 2.493โ€ So this cheapo caliper is pretty darn accurate to two decimal places. My brain hurts now, so I think I will stick to my dial and digital units.
  16. Just to keep everything relevant, I made a vernier clamp.๐Ÿค“
  17. A dog will eat cat poop if given the opportunity, but try to hide a pill in a chunk of cheeseโ€ฆ
  18. WOW! Awesome amount of custom fabrication you are doing to this! It is really starting to shape up nicely.๐Ÿ‘
  19. Very nice build Tom!๐Ÿ‘ I like all your additions.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  20. Beautifully done Bob!๐Ÿ‘ Your 3d printed wheels nicely complement the package.๐Ÿ˜Ž
  21. Fabulous work on the exhaust system Daniel. And your lathe work on those brake discs is something I envy. I have one of those chinese lathes but donโ€™t have the skills to do that kind of intricate work.๐Ÿ‘
  22. Thanks for all your completely irrelevant input boys.๐Ÿ™„
  23. Cool project and I love that engine!๐Ÿ˜Ž
  24. Iโ€™m not a fan of that chop either. Other than that, might be restorable.
