  1. English is currently my only language but eventually I’ll speak gibberish.
  2. Super slick paint job on this one and an ultra clean build all around Luke!πŸ‘πŸ˜Ž
  3. Break a leg.
  4. Welcome to the forums Johnathan. That is an ambitious initial project, but you will find everyone here very helpful. Just ask and someone will eventually chime in. One bit of advice I can give you is don’t get too hung up on making everything perfect. Just try to improve a bit with each new project. Edit: Check out the β€œHow do I search for answers already posted here” in the Q&A section.
  5. Thinkers like to tinker.
  6. Sweet looking Chevelle!πŸ‘πŸ˜Ž
  7. That really turned out beautiful Bruce!πŸ‘ I love the stance, and with the wheels and tires you chose, gives it a slightly sinister look.😎 well done!
  8. She looks real nice Rich!😎 These are really basic kits with a few minor issues, but they do build up into nice looking models. I built one relatively stock one and my next one has some slight modifications.😬
  9. Great work designing it and actually building it Ken!😎 At first glance I got a Corvette vibe off of it.
  10. If you can’t find the proper size bar you could split it at the middle and extend it somehow.
  11. The headers look great daniel.😎 I have to build a wild set for a Corvette project. I might have to look for some proper sized solder.πŸ€”
  12. Game time is seven o’clock according to the tv channel guide.
  13. Great looking Jeep Pat!πŸ‘ I definitely prefer the Gladiator grill on these trucks.
  14. Cool project!😎 I would certainly grab one of those if I came across it.πŸ™‚
  15. Thanks Chris.πŸ™‚ Thanks David.πŸ™‚ I think widening the C-pillar took it from odd looking to aesthetically pleasing. Thanks John. I debated making it look like a factory offering, but I really wanted to use the LS engine. Thanks Mike.πŸ™‚ Thanks Brian.πŸ™‚ Thanks Bill.πŸ™‚ Thank you Stuart.πŸ™‚ Thanks Bob.πŸ™‚ The engine update is something I really wanted. I should have put disc brakes on it too, but you really can’t see them anyways with the factory hubcaps. Thanks Al.πŸ™‚ Thank you Chris.πŸ™‚ Yeah, I grabbed a few parts from Revell kits including the exhaust system. Thanks J.πŸ™‚ Thank you Craig.πŸ™‚ I wanted to take away some of the Nomad look, and removing the tailgate ribs helped I think.
  16. Models of tractors is something I’ve never built.
  17. I think I like your approach the best Carl.πŸ™‚ I find very little if any residue left afterwards. I am however very cheap with the foil and I burnish down the finished edges with a pointy Tamiya swab.
  18. Cool looking little truck!😎 It’s all about having fun.πŸ‘
  19. Nice start on this one Simo. I really like the look of the 911s.😎
  20. One man’s junkyard is another man’s goldmine!😎
  21. I dunno…if I could grab a nap in the afternoon maybe I wouldn’t be going to bed at 9:30pm.😴
  22. I can’t tell you if it needs to be corrected, but if that β€œMr. Hobby” glue is a solvent like Tamiya Extra Thin, then the only way to break the joint if it is completely dried, is to cut it apart. I would suggest a photo etch razor saw. Drill and pin the parts before re-assembly at the proper orientation.πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ
  23. Looks like your buddy does fantastic work!πŸ‘πŸ˜Ž
  24. I am calling this one done.πŸ₯΅ Thanks to everyone for your support and input along the journey.πŸ™‚ More pics under glass here: https://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/203136-1955-el-camino/#comment-3068281
