  1. I prefer to buy ones that are meant for oil/solvent based paints rather than acrylic/water based paints. That said, I go more by the length and shape of the bristles than anything. The top two are my currently most-used brushes that I happened across at Marshalls. The next two red ones are from Micheals. The next was from Artists Emporium…and the rest I’m not sure where I got them? The wide one is also from Micheals, and I bought it specifically for painting headliners. I use lacquer thinner for cleaning them and abuse the heck out of them.?
  2. Here’s a couple from a local meet.
  3. Quite the talent and imagination you had back then Bob!? Really nice that you saved them all too. I only build maybe a dozen as a kid, but I sure wish I had saved mine.?

  6. Pretty much like D.W. said…here is how I lengthened the frame for a Jeepster build.
  7. They are pushing the “zipper merge” thing here too in Winnipeg. In theory it should work fine if both lanes are on the same page and everyone is paying attention. Both lanes have to be moving at the same pace for it to work smoothly. In practice though it does cause the “shock wave” of braking that David mentioned. The lane that is closed always seems to be the quickest route through the bottleneck.
  8. Wishing you a speedy recovery as well Mario.
  9. Perspective is everything, and a violin is just a fancy fiddle.
