Great looking trio Tom!? The interiors are really nice too from what I can see.??

Thanks Guys. I was going to go all one color at first, but apparently up until 1934? they all had black fenders. It’s tough even finding good pictures of original vehicles…most are custom. Ford Barn Forums was the best source I found for original info.?

Babbling is what I do after excessive imbibing.

Beautiful looking Mustang??

Wow, that looks sweet in that Yella paint!?

Fun is the last word of the allowed single sentence. ?

This was kind of a filler project. I didn’t realize how simple this kit was when I bought it, so I didn’t get carried away with it. I dropped the front just a tad, and made my own window glass for it. Other than that, it is pretty much OOB.? I’m calling this one done. This kit had some mildew damage to the box and everything smelled musty. Even after washing and a soak in IPA, the tires still smell.? More pics here:https://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/193429-amt-‘32-5-window-coupe/

Too many squirrels running around in my head.

You’ve got a lot of nice projects Started Terry…now grab one and drag it across the finish line.? I vote for the Up in Smoke ‘64 Chevy.? -
Got the interior finished. Pretty simple, I didn’t even bother adding any door handles or window cranks.? I had to whittle down the tabs on the spare tire holder that fit into the slots on the frame horns and bend the mount a touch to get it to sit closer to the deck lid. I needed to do that, and also trimmed the rim flush with the inside of the tire to provide clearance for the bumper. Pretty much just the bumper mounting left now.?

Nice plan Jim! I like topless models too.?

Traction can be improved with the installation of a locker.

Beautiful women in the cast make a lot of BAD movies bearable.?

Play with your model cars and trucks boys.

Cars are what this forum is all about, but trucks are also allowed.

Media coverage of new model kit offerings is insufficient.

Nice mockup Jeremy.? I like the wheels and tires too.?

Yeah that sucks.? It’s even difficult to research a stock build. Type in “original” or “stock” and you get a whole whack of custom stuff.? The Ford Barn Forum is the best source I’ve come across for technical information. https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/

Thanks for the tips Bill.? I really don’t want to get that involved with correcting this thing. Like I said, I’m not going down the rabbit hole….just a few easy fixes.? Edit: This kit is close enough for me, but is there a more accurate or more detailed kit that can be built completely stock? Thanks DJ.? Yeah the glass thickness and fit is REAL bad, but relatively easily fixed too.?

Tuck and roll interiors and bucket seats

Are the pleats permanent, or do they swell or relax in time? If not, this is a great idea.? -
Yeah! Designing cars back then was an artform. Lately it’s been more about wind drag…what a drag!?

AMT I believe is either a benevolent or malevolent entity…I’m not quite sure which…depends upon the kit I guess??

Sorry folks, I am trying…but this is just not acceptable.? So I scribed a recess on the body and made some new glass from a clear container I fished out of the recycling bin.
