  1. Great looking rig!?
  2. Wow, this is looking great. Obviously a labor of love for you to blend all those parts together and get it looking this good already.?
  3. Fabulous work you’re doing on this one Bill and your original build is really a thing of beauty!?? I am currently tubbing a’32 Deuce, but I am not as ambitious or talented as you, so I am sticking with the stock front axle. Can’t wait to see where you go with this.?
  4. That yellow looks great on it Len!? The foil really sets it off nicely.?
  5. I have tried Bondic and one other brand. I wouldn’t really call them “glues” because they don’t really adhere to any solid surfaces.
  6. Opinions vary depending on one’s circumstances.
  7. I think white or black would look better than gold? Or maybe even grey. You’ve seen my ‘56…that was just grey primer with a gloss clear coat.?
  8. You sure work a lot quicker than I do Bob. I waste more time than that switching glasses and looking for the tool I just set down.? The 2k clear looks great. I’ve only wet sanded and polished a couple of paint jobs and can’t imagine doing it on a ‘36 Ford…I’d screw it up for sure.?
  9. Like everyone, I use all types of glue for different material combinations and fitment situations. My favourite for styrene to styrene joints has always been Tamiya extra thin quick setting if the fit is good enough. Lately I find myself using CA more and more…mostly because I am too impatient to wait for other glues to dry.?
  10. I think the burgundy and white would look nice Jim. JMO.?
  11. Cheetos aren’t nearly as good as Cheezies.
  12. That does look great James! Funny, I just settled this morning on painting mine almost exactly those colours. Now I know it will look OK.?
  13. Is that not obvious?
  14. I finally finalized (I Think) my wheel rims and disc brake setup for my tubbed ‘32 five window project. ? I’ve been fiddling with it for three days now casting various resin wheel & brake rotor & caliper combinations.???
  15. Wine gives me a headache.
  16. Yes, it’s coming along nicely Pete. Love all the modifications!?
  17. It’s coming along nicely David.? Interesting treatment method for the grill…I’ll have to try that on something. Thanks!?
  18. It’s looking really nice Len. I like the new headlight bezels and contrasting fender welting. I would fix the rear wheel location. You’ve put so much work into it already. Every time you look at it, you’ll say why didn’t I fix that? JMO.?
  19. Great work on the roof Jim…it looks a hundred times better!??
  20. The vise is a good idea too. I have one and use it frequently.
  21. I like Bobs approach.? I can’t imagine being able to foil much with one hand considering how it likes to curl. But if you are determined enough, anything is possible. Maybe try one of these PC board holders clamped or fastened to the bench somehow? I know there are guys on here that use them. Good luck with the surgery and I hope you have a speedy recovery.
  22. You’re welcome Hugh. I’m happy that it worked for you.?
  23. Please let us know what that thing is like. Since my lathe quit working, I’ve been tempted to buy one of those for turning rings for wheel rims and such. I’m just wondering if it is a useful tool or junk? I have some cheap pin vises that are junk, so I an hesitant. Thanks.
  24. Can you post a picture of the mesh? Seeing the style and pattern might give us a better idea of what you’re up against.
  25. Away I go now to the modeling bench.
