  1. I managed to get the rear fenders bobbed this morning.
  2. Thanks! I made them from 3/32” aluminum tubing. Here’s a link to the thread where I got the idea. https://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/145256-diy-injection-stacks/#comment-2887962
  3. Very nicely done!? I love that color on it.?
  4. That is a real looker Steve! I like how the white letter tires accent the paint job.?
  5. Times tables were something you needed to learn in order to get a passing grade.

    I like it.??
  7. Well a couple of other kits have me stymied so I’ve been trying to get some issues ironed out with this one. I’ve finally cobbled together some inner and outer rims that will work with the tires that I want to use (second pic). I also nixed the Hemi and am going with a Boss 429. It’s from the Polar Lights Torino and isn’t really a great version. So I rebuilt it. I used the Chrysler Hemi exhaust manifolds, but corrected the outlet spacing and modified them to link up with my already installed exhaust system. I detailed the valve covers a bit and scratch built a new oil pan. I was debating putting a blower on it, but decided on a custom injection system instead. I was going to use the Weber carbs from an AMT Corvette, but after a short search on here, I realized AMT pulled a fast one and gave us side draft carbs instead of downdraft?…so custom fi system it is!?
  8. Boat load of models are available in two local shops here, but dang…they ain’t cheap anymore.?
  9. There is no shortage of kits that need a little massaging to become somewhat presentable. Some even need total reconstruction or are even beyond hope. But what are the all time best kits for straight OOB builds? Thoughts anyone?
  10. What particular car are you looking for? You might find a picture of the actual liner and downsize it? https://collectorsautosupply.com/carpet-mats/trunk-mats/
  11. Popular Hot Rodding was my favourite magazine as a kid…so I bought a subscription with my allowance.
  12. Client cards and PIN numbers should be guarded.
  13. My tweezers have gotten together and are having a competition to see which one can launch a part the farthest…and then they all laugh.?

  15. Sammiges that I really like are made with corned beef and mayo on rye bread.

  17. Great work on the interior Dennis. i like that colour too!??
  18. You can do it on the site I posted Steven. But the “Minnesota” is all caps even though they show both versions as options. This is just a quick draft print on plain paper.
  19. Kid you not, this is a great forum.
  20. You are absolutely correct. Excellent blending and paint don’t cover up awkward proportions. Kit’s got it nailed I think!?
  21. And another one. More vanity plate options here I think. https://platesmania.com/ca/informer
  22. I don’t recall where I picked this one up, but I’ve had it a long time.
