  1. Beautiful work Scott.? I like everything about it.?
  2. That would likely work, but it needs a lot of work to blend into the kit it was designed for, and it still looks like a cramped cab space. I considered extending it and adding a rear quarter window, but that would seriously shorten the box and make it look odd. I like Jims approach, and with the fins on a ‘57 it shouldn’t make the box look short. It’s just a matter of blending it in nicely.
  3. Career choices should be carefully considered.
  4. That is one slick looking Toronado Claude!? The wheels and that color look great on it.?
  5. It looks great Uwe!? I too have this kit…thanks for the tip about the decals.?
  6. Cool project Jim!??? I will definitely follow along.? And the ‘57 is my least favourite tri-five Chevy too.
  7. I tried googling this transmission every which way I could think of and be darned if I could find a picture of the relevant item. I did somewhere read that air cooled transmissions were used behind 6 cylinder engines and liquid cooled behind V8s. How accurate that is I don’t know.?‍♂️
  8. I really like those colors on it Jeremy!? ‘56 is my favourite of the tri-five Chevys.?
  9. Nice clean little hot rod! ??
  10. Wow! Sorry to hear of your misfortunes Chris. There is absolutely no excuse for that shoddy treatment.
  11. Awesome project you’ve got going here Francois!? I will be following along.? Not sure if that is just a mock up, but I believe that driveshaft is out of phase…one end needs to be rotated 90 degrees. Wish I had your computer skills.?
  12. Wow! Fabulous work Jason. I’ve rarely ventured into this section of the forum, but I think I’ll have to keep an eye on it with fantastic builds like this going on.?
  13. Manners aren’t the same as manors.
  14. Here is another possibility you could experiment with. I use this method for making tailgate chains. Take an appropriate size soft wire (.020” perhaps?) and wrap it around a pin or piece of wire. Then twist the ends until tight. For a heim joint maybe wrap the wire twice around the pin? Then trim it and shove it inside a small aluminum tube. It might just work??
  15. Atlas is what I use to explore places I would never go.
  16. Very nice! You are putting a lot of work into this one Topher and it is certainly paying off.??
  17. Sites on the internet can be used to see the world if you can’t or don’t want to get out and see the sights for yourself.

Wow, that thing makes pink look great!?
  19. First: Nice little model you’ve printed out Joe!? Second: I know zero about 3d printing.? Third: Someone on here ought to know…there are a few members who are very involved with it. Fourth: If no one chimes in, try a 3d printing forum. There should be plenty of them on the web. Fifth: Good Luck with it.?
  20. Gentlemen…start your engines.
  21. LOUD ‘N’ PROUD was a nice album (when played loud) by Nazareth.
  22. Fax is short for facsimile.
