Resin 64 Chevy Crew Cab Pickup
NOBLNG replied to 64SS350's topic in WIP: Model Trucks: Pickups, Vans, SUVs, Light Commercial
Looking good Karl!? The real wood bed should look real nice.? -
I think it looks good Len.? I haven’t had great luck with Createx, but I have a few bottles of it so I am giving it one more try. I aborted my first attempt with that same Phthalo green.? If my paint job doesn’t turn out this time, I will give away whatever product I have left.

Looks like a nice casting…I’ll follow along to see what you do with it.? -
Well Jim, Mark tipped me off to look at my Merc…I knew it had a Caddy engine. Don’t you need that engine and trans for your next ‘41 Plymouth build????

How do I paint Ferrari floor matts?
NOBLNG replied to Milo's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Pretty tough to paint something that tiny?? If you can find a picture of the mats you want, you could downsize and print them.- 1 reply

Thanks Steve. It was nice to meet you too, and congrats on the well deserved awards!?

That doesn’t work if there is no pressure.

I had a fantastic time there. Lots of extremely talented builders… it’s hard to pick only three favourites.? I enjoyed meeting the friendly folks in the local club down there too. Thanks for making it a great event!??

Let the can settle for a day then poke a very tiny hole close to the top of the can to let any remaining pressure out. Once all the pressure is gone, you can poke a larger hole to pour out the paint. You might want to cover the hole with a rag and shake it up before pouring it out. Be careful removing the rag as there may still be propellant absorbed in the paint. Alternately, you could cut the entire top off after the pressure is gone and stir the paint. https://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/138715-how-to-remove-paint-from-spray-cans-when-nozzle-fails/

Is this common?

My wife has always driven standards. She currently has a 2014 Jeep JKU with a six speed. I sure like my 2013 MX5 PRHT with the M6 transmission.? -
