  1. Looks Great. I have that in the build que to go with the lowboy trailer and dozer. Insperation to go get going on that one !
  2. We just lost Bert Reynolds More of the old school passing on RIP
  3. After the L-700 party i got into a big rig fetish and this is the results This has been hands down the nicest kit i have built.Almost everything fit properly, noted problems was the driveshafts, one to long and one to short and the mud flaps on the truck would not fit into the correct place. Basicly OOB with PH wipers, the kit wipers sucked Problems i had include trying to get that huge Coca Cola decal on the side of the trailer to lay into the ribbed sides, after a half of bottle of solvaset it still aint perfect! And the windsheild sun visor is so out of scale but i dident notice untill after it was on Was a fun build, next rig i will do is the Kenworth W 925 and the Revell auto transporter trailer So what ye all think, the good ,bad and the ugly
  4. I really like the detail under the hood What color is the body? Hard to tell on this cheap dell LT Great job
  5. Mods if this is to outa bounds do what ya gota do This is a pic of Raquel Welch auditioning for the role of Mary-Ann for Gilligans Island Tina Louis was hot back then but in my eyes RW has her by a mile
  6. I wasent really putting to much faith in the R2 suggestion but a guy can hope/wish Looking around at whats available right now this might be a place to start
  7. Hi Round 2!!!!!! Was wondering if there is a kit of a beverage trailer in 1/25 scale The above is a suggestion to R2 for the next branded kit to do Or maybe another trailer that could be bashed into something like this. What ye modelers surmise?
  8. Ill be sending some more stash cash their way for the trailer Thanks for the heads up
  9. I have been thinkin about trying this kit but have yet to stash one My thoughts on the headlight issue is the problem lies with the distance from the top/highest point of the radius on the wheel opening to the bottom of the body. Thats what looks to long to me When i compare a pic of the 1 to 1, the headlight buckets appear to be at about centered on a horizontal line with the top /highest point of the wheel well The build looks awsome Looking forward to seeing it done
  10. Thinkin bout a Movin On build for this one I finally couldn't take looking at those supplied wipers that come with the kits, some gonna try these
  11. I did the Shell version and that thing was a engineering disaster. The front spindles, the cab hinge,Try to make the trailer a short bed....Good luck I do love the subject but that kit should have never been released in its current form and expect someone to build a decent model with what comes in the box. For me the fun of the kit was trying to fix all the train wreck engineering.
  12. Thanks Keith Godzilla is the Aurora kit by Playing mantis dated 2000 He stands about 8.5 " tall On a side note the dog in your avatar looks so much like a dog we had She lived to 16 and was just a sweetheart
  13. This is a dio i did for a build campaign on another site The theme is Godzilla has sat by and watched Hollywood sink into the swamp for so long so he has come over here to clean the joint up,and he's pissed. Comments welcome
  14. For me being only one and a half years in this hobby some of the kits are displayed in the living room but none of them are car/truck kits. My master plan for the cars /trucks is a diorama including a gas station and a replica of a drive-in restaurant that was a cruising hangout for us in the early 70s called Frischs Big boy.
  15. Compared to the Dodge L-700 i just did for TAT, this kit is giving me the warm fuzzies the way everything is properly designed to fit OOB with no Mikieengineering needed
  16. https://www.wildhorses4x4.com/product/Revell-Stroppe-Baja-Bronco-Model-1-25/toys got one here They have the stock bronco and some greenlight 1/64 stuff too
  17. I feel better now at 5,so i really dont have KAS?
  18. Ok,I now realize i have a real prob with Kit acquisition syndrome.I have done 5 Not proud of myself but some of the kits was kinda a bargain you just hate to pass cause you know it wont last long.
  19. Doug, the method you describe for the spindles is kinda like what i did but my fix dident fix it.What you did to the rear axle to adjust the ride height is the same thing i did but i dident move it back.I did the short bed of the Shell tanker and between adjusting the truck ride height and the trailer ride height i got it acceptable looking, also the Shell tanker model of this kit cannot be built in the short bed version with whats in the box, there is no place to put the landing legs if you follow the instructions.I added 1.22" to make it 20 scale feet long .the tilting cab hinge was another scratch fix needed in that kit. Looking forward to seeing this come together
  20. Lookin good Doug I did the Shell tanker version and it was a nitemare! Dose the front axel spindles stay attached and turn without falling off? Even after i tried to fix that issue i wound up gluing it so it wont turn Fun kit none the less
  21. To put behind the KW 900 A plug for t&khobby.com for the car hauler at a reasonable price
  22. Im not really a Chevy guy but this car just dose something for me https://www.rkmotors.com/vehicles/2763/2016-chevrolet-camaro-copo#
  23. Weathering looks great Awesome build!
  24. Cool Dave! The next truck/trailer combo im gonna do is the Pete 352 CO and the Fruehauf trailer Thanks for the confidence builder
