This has been stripped 2 times and painted 3 times. Then I clear coated it which I'm new to. Now I'm trying to get this side trim and it's just not working. Even with all the lights I have on. I'm having a hard time seeing the lines. First I started with foil. But a 1/4 of a sheet later it didn't do well. Then I masked it off and tried the chrome pen. But it wouldn't paint and I'm thinking it's because I clear coated it which like I've said. I've never used clear coat before. I hate the thought of tossing it into the purple pond for the 3rd time. I've been trying to replicate my 1964 Comet I owned when I was a teen.

Got this today. I want to replicate my Mechanic's Nova. Now all I need is a photo as I've never seen it. Only was told about it. He hasn't done anything with it in 20 years which is a shame.

They wouldn’t do that for me. If I wanted a refund. They said the person I spoke to on their website number should have offered to send me a label to send it back. They didn’t even mention that option to me. But told me to take it to one of their stores. So I did. And the store in Albany NY would only give me a store credit. I think it all depends on who you are dealing with. And I’m always nice to people so it wasn’t like I was being a jerk or anything.

They did that too with the 1961 Chevy Impala SS and the 1966 Chevelle. And if you return it to the store. They will only give you store credit.
