  1. Great build. You hardly ever see station wagons anymore.
  2. Thank you very much. I haven’t seen it at my Ollies.
  3. I haven't seen the 71 t-bird yet. What's the box look like.
  4. Nice Alan. I've sort of done that using a fishing box with compartments. I don't have as much loose stuff as you. I did sort the hub caps. Paired them up and put them in small baggies. The stragglers are in one bin. my interior tubs are in freezer bags. So I've sort of done what you did. But the boxes. Just flatten the lids to save them? And I have about 70 of more freezer bags with chrome parts still on the sprue. Don't know what they got to but I felt it better to leave the connected. I'm going to post photos t see if I can get help identifying the. They are useless now as I don't know what they go to. So hence photos of wanted things. Bill. I wish I had the memory but I don't.
  5. Question. Do you keep the kit box once you've build the kit. And what do you do with the extra parts? Do you log them into your computer for fast retrieval? Or are they all in a bin but separated by wheels in one. Engine blocks in another. Inquiring mind want's to know. I have a ton of extra parts. But when I read someone is looking for something. It takes me forever to see if I have it. Of course a picture of the part would help.
  6. I've quit a couple of time myself. Now I'm back into it. I did try to sell my kits. But everyone wanted to pay way less than the $10 a kit I was asking. I didn't want to break it up. Over 80 un-started kits for $800. They all said it was too expensive. So I kept them. Found this forum and I'm now happily back into building. So if you can pack them up. I would. Never know what the future will bring. And plus you have to deal with packing and shipping with Ebay. And you have to pick through all the crazies who will contact you through Craig's list before you find the one serous buyer. Is it really worth selling? And even on Facebook. Some clubs have member being taken for a ride. So even that way of selling is iffy. And if in the future you decide to build again. Imagine how expensive it will be to start buying kits again. Since I've been in the forum I've seen the prices on kits almost double. And I joined last March. OK. I'll shut up.
  7. Really nice.
  8. Really nice build
  9. Nice imperial and the Ferrari is cute.
  10. That's a beauty.
  11. It's funny because they seem to have different kits in different stores. I went to Ollies in Albany NY and one in Utica NY and they had different kits.
  12. Got this in the mail from Khils today. Nice trade. Thanks Kevin.
  13. Had a great trade with Khils (Kevin Hilsabeck). Thanks again Kevin.
  14. Nice build. The detail is amazing.
  15. That's really beautiful. Nice build.
  16. I read everything you comment on buddy. I’m just not up to your level for making educated comments on model building. But i’m Learning.
  17. I think the hobby is going well. But it's hard when you all carry the same kits and have to compete against each other. And they have to jack the price up because of the discount coupons.
  18. The one by me says that they are going to restock but that was months ago. They even moved what they had left to a smaller area. So I think they are stopping in my area. Then for me it would be Oliies, AC Moore and Hobby Lobby. Most of Hobby Lobby's new kits are well on their way to over $30 where I am. AC Moores all being $37.99 now. All over 100 mile round trip.
