Picked up these today. They are complete and some are partially started. The 2 Chevys have had the roofs removed. Have to figure out how to reattach them or find boot covers and figure out sun visors. At least they left some plastic along the top of the windshields frame. The truck is started and the Ford has had it's doors glued shut. The hinges are broken off so I guess they will have to stay that way. The stock cars will be up for grabs as I'm not interested in them. I had to buy them all and the whole lot was a super duper deal. The cool little gas station has lights that blink on top. I think it might be a hot wheels toy as you can launch a car from the showroom floor. Heck 5 cents. Can't go wrong. Use it to display some matchbox cars.

Just purchased this 2 weeks ago. I had an 05 Element I bought new. But the maintenance on that car as astronomical. So I sold it and purchased this 09 Venza. 57,000 miles and all wheel drive. My Element hardly ever topped 20 miles per gallon. This is averaging 24 -26 mpg. Really liking it so far.

I think it’s worth what I paid. The matchbox car is worth a bit. And it’s in perfect condition. But I couldn’t find the box. The built cars I bought mainly for the whitewall tires. Lol.

Some of the kits were started. The Rolls was not. All the instructions and decals are with the kits except for the Tiger Shark. But that one has something that looks like you would put the model on it and it would rotate. The Pierce Arrow kit has all the paper work advertising the company's models. Not sure what to do with the others. I'd like to get at least the stock hood, front grill and rear pieces to the Plymouth. I actually had a dealer's promo when I was a kid that had the working torsion bars in it. But my brothers took care of that along with the rest. The Lincolns cools it has sun roofs that lift up, Missing one of course and the hood. The t-birds are all there except for the 58 convertible which is missing it's windshield frame. And another cobra to get rid of. The best find is the 1957 Chevy Impala Matchbox car. It's in perfect shape. This estate sale was like a time cell opened up. These people kept everything they ever owned.

Hey Mike. Might be the glue. Is it kid safe? That could be the reason why.

What is MCG and PE set? This is one of those repainted ProShop kits. I already have one but when I saw this at an estate sale. I had to save it. And it did literally fall apart as I walled with it. LOL. I was lucky with the glue but still wonder what they used. Would Testors kid glue do that?

Thank you. I appreciate the input. I just placed it in a clear display box with a decorated display behind it. He has a pellet furnace so I wanted to make sure it didn't get covered in dust.

Really nice colors.

1957 Chevy Hardtop. I painted it and I'm now stumped as to what colors the interior should be. I'm thinking white with silver. The Dukes of Hazard Charger is almost ready to come out of the purple power. Not sure if I'm going to stick with the car's theme or go elsewhere with it. And a 1960 Corvette. It's black so I think I'm going to leave it at that. Besides the Edsel I posted the other day.

Thank you. He will be surprised when he sees it. The younger guys where he works keep bugging him to put a Borla Exhaust on it. Make it louder. His reply is "Why would I want to draw attention to myself?" That's my brother. LOL

Very nice and the right color.

That is awesome. Great vision on your part.

I bought this at an estate sale and it literally fell apart every time I touched it. Either it was a bad build or I have the touch of death. Lol. Hopefully its a bad build but mine are not the best. It was weird as the parts that dangled on for dear life were held by some sort of stretchy glue of which I do no know. But thanks to numerous wonderful forum members. I will start putting it back together.

I did this for my younger brother. (61 years old LOL). He doesn't even know it did this but it's exactly like his car. It's that Revell Snap Kit.

Another great trade with Oldcarfan27 and Junkyardjeff. Thanks guys.

I think it looks great.

I was surprised by how muh red paint was in the filter for the dehumidifier where I build the kits. I did the main painting from a can outside only to do few brief coats inside. The room is 26 by 40 and I sprayed in the opposite side of the room of the dehumidifier. Makes me also think I need to get a mask also.

Very nice. What company makes these kits?

I'm looking onto buying a paint booth and wondered if anyone had any recommendations. I'd appreciate any input. I've looked at these online.
