  1. Nice job, I really like to see these old tractors, new or weathered. Hermann.
  2. Really nice job of an old Hollywood icon. Hermann.
  3. Nice KW what you show here! Hermann.
  4. Flawless! Only 1 advice, take nice outdoor photos with a nice background and you would think this is a real one. Great job. Hermann.
  5. Nice subject and out of the ordinary. I hope to see more of that. Hermann.
  6. Absolutely fabulous, you really catched the era. Are these decals under a clear coat, or is this really special paint? Hermann.
  7. A very nice outcome of a nice kit. I Know these kits and when I look at your Suzuki, I realize I have the same kit, only as a panel truck. On the load box there are all the holes and shapes for the flags and vending glass, and as an additional in this kit, there are small plates to cover all this stuff for a panel conversion. So the base is exactly the same as the food truck.....funny. Besides this, do you have also the other food trucks, it is a really nice to have the whole collection together. Hermann.
  8. Great work, the coca cola vending machine also looks very convincing. Hermann.
  9. I checked this topic Dan, I did't know this car, but very nice to see that you made this "outsider". Thank you TJ. Thank you for stopping by and liking this Toyota Jürgen. I'm really looking forward for your next sratch build, the 1936 MAN F 4 truck. Hermann.
  10. That is indeed a beautiful model. It takes a lot of time to do this, especially if you want to make this as realistic as possible. In this case, you have absolutely succeeded.? Hermann.
  11. I love this to see this project. Very nice progress and i really love the build of the payload. Hermann.
  12. Great job, I love this version more then with the sleeper. Hermann.
  13. Thank you for the nice comments guys!? I hope this one to finish soon. Hermann.
  14. It's been a while, but I've been busy lately, and didn't have much time for the hobby, but thank you for the nice comments guys!? The box what I added is a kind of electric or fuse box. I never saw the inside, but the most Fuso semi's have this kind of box on the side of the battery box. Hermann.
  15. Very nice build! Red and black is imo always a good combination. Hermann.
  16. Very nice build, the paintjob and the weathering are awesome. Hermann.
  17. Very nice set, I like the paintjob on the fenders. Hermann.
  18. Thank you Dan, and yes, I also enjoyed this build, very good fit quality, and as a manner of speaking, everything falls together by itself. I hope to see yours soon also. Thank you David, this company indeed has very nice and rare parts and trans kits, and for a favorable price. The shipping costs are also very reasonable. Thank you Jeff, and as far as the mirror is concerned, I also share your opinion, but I wanted to create a model that is as pure Japanese as possible with this model. Thank you Nigel, It is a very nice kit to make and there are 2 different versions in the kit. I hope to see yours also. Hermann.
  19. Hello everyone, After having built a number of trucks, I looked in my stash ..... and saw that there were a lot of cars and vans on the shelf. After some searching I chose this Toyota Hilux from Aoshima. A nice kit of good quality, and despite the not so many parts, still nicely detailed. The kit is in general an out of the box built, except for some minor adjustments, floor mats on the floor of the double cab, the inner front wheel arches made conected with the body, and the 2 large holes at the rear of the cab, which I of course closed , and shortened the long pinns of the cargo bed that should fall into these holes. The car itself painted with Motip car paint in a typical Japanese standard color, chrome parts de-chromed and redone with chrome marker, to change the "chrome toy look" into a more realistic look. The toyota emblem and the male are from Zoomon models A company in Hong Kong, which has beautiful car stuff and trans kits, of good quality and a very fast delivery. This is the final result after gluing and painting and i hope you guys find this a nice pick-up truck. Hermann.
  20. Hi Don, Thank you for liking this picture. Nice car you have, also thanks for sharing it.? I know a cargo bulk liquid surveyor who sometimes comes to our company and drives a BMW E-30 touring, also for business because he does not want a lease car from his company. This 6 cylinder petrol car has now driven 550,000 km and still on the run as a work / private car. So, with good service and maintenance, these cars can do it. And from the point of view of environment today, we are the most environmentally friendly car users. Yes Steve, this picture was taken on my vacation in Italy, to be precise, the Como lake in Northern Italy. For the 400.000km, this car is still equiped with the first engine and automatic transmision, no overhaulings but good service and maintenance every year. These cars were built on durability, large engine, not too many horsepower for reliability, 190HP with a top speed of 228 km/hr that this car today still achieves without any struggles or vibrations. For the interested, here a nice link with the engineers from that time, who talk today about this model when it was designed and manufactured. The S-Class and Its Engineers: from W126 to W221 And another picture from the same spot, it was a beautiful place with a nice background. Hermann.
  21. In 2006 I bought this car as a daily car, a Mercedes Benz 300SE. Year of construction May 1991 with a 3 liter 6 cylinder inline engine. At the time of purchase there was 180,000 km on the odometer and since this week 400,000 km are on the odometer. Old German top, in a time when a Mercedes Benz was still a real Mercedes Benz, quality! Hermann.
  22. Thank you Brian and Marc! And yes Marc, since I saw this kind of mud flaps on the reference pictures, this created this possibility. Today the last update of this project. It mainly concerns small matters that have to complete this FLB. I first to made the wipers and placed on the cab and glued the wipers it self on the windshield with the transperant glue "clear weld", awesome glue, I should have had this much earlier. Then the trailer cables that will be attached to a connector on the back of the cabin. This connector has yet to be made. Then make the small supports that are glued to the tank straps and at the underside of the steps. Meanwhile I also received the nice decals from Jerry, including a sheet of data decals for the frame. Then a sheet with filter and engine decals, with decals for the Cat, the Detroit Diesel and the Cummins. And of course a sheet of license plates together with fuel permits and tax stickers. Here just a few decals on the frame and motor .... And finally, the making of the mirrors. This time the co-driver mirror gets a round blind spot mirror. I took this mirror from the FLD kit, cut off the mirror itself and glued it on a new self made frame. Then removed a piece of lamp glass from a transperant set, sanded it smoothly and then glued it on this mirror for a nice round spherical mirror. Then make the mirrors themselves adjustable by means of extra brackets and a pin / hole connection of brass. Now not only can the mirror brackets be folded in again as with the FLA, but also the mirrors themselves can be adjusted. Ok guys, this was the last update of this project, the next pictures will be the final pictures. See you then. Hermann.
  23. Nice build Marc, I'm also interested how this will turns out. Hermann.
  24. Nice progress Pat, I also like the set up in the garage, it's like they build it. Hermann.
  25. Hello everyone, Also progressed a bit further with this project. After I was still not satisfied with the rims and tires, I exchanged the rims and tires with the kit of a Fujimi Hino dumper. The front rims are also exact to the real truck, and after some fitting and adjusting the axle width, I painted everything white and mounted the tires, it look exactly as I was searching for. The mechanism and hydraulic piston that slides the extendable floor in and out is also mounted. Later on, the electrical lines and hydraulic hoses will be attached. Then the floor lift and extendable roof are painted white and the floor itself given a black anti-slip layer with Revell no.9. And all together with the new rims and tires.... Hermann.
