  1. Better off Dead. Great movie.
  2. I really like where this is going. 2 of my favorite cars put together.
  3. I have many shows that I currently watch but none of them can be considered an all-time favorite. But I do have 3 all-time favorites, though. What makes them favorites to me is that they were good for their entire run, not 1 bad season. In no particular order: Breaking Bad The Shield Justified Deadwood would probably be in there if it would have had a satisfying conclusion to the series. I liked the movie but it wasn't a satisfying ending to me. I loved Vikings, but it wasn't the same after Ragnar was killed. Ozark has a chance of being a favorite if the final season ends up being as good as the previous seasons.
  4. Spider webs can cause all kinds of problems. Does anyone remember the Mazda recall due to spider webs restricting the flow of fuel vapors? https://www.caranddriver.com/news/a15366416/car-achnophobia-ii-spiders-force-second-mazda-6-recall-for-cracked-fuel-tanks/
  5. I'm going to have to disagree with you.
  6. Another badass hot rod by Triple R. Looks fantastic.
  7. My closest Ollie's had at least 10 Gremlins on the first day of the sale.
  8. It's been my experience that the shows eventually come to the Motor Trend channel. I don't know know the time frame though.
  9. Better than what I can do at 54. He did a great job.
  10. My local post office. Once again I have packages that have been sitting at the post office for several days with no idea of when they will be delivered. Twice I have been given a delivery date only for that date to come and go with no package. My other mail has been delivered, though. I live down a dirt road and I think the mail carrier just doesn't want to drive down to my house.
  11. Great work. The colors are perfect.
  12. Same here in VA. I can't wait for winter.
  13. Probably more along the lines of never having been through a McDonald's drive thru and not knowing there are 2 windows. I don't eat McDonald's. It's disgusting "food", but my wife wanted something so we went through the drive thru. I was driving. After my wife placed her order I proceeded to drive around the corner to the window. I see a car ahead getting their food so I pull up behind it. It was only when the employee looked at me like I had 2 heads as I tried to pay did I find out they have a pay window and pick-up window. I wasn't looking for a pay window as I had never been through a drive thru that had 2 windows. I don't eat a lot of fast food so I don't go through a lot of drive-thrus. And as Leo Getz said "they **** you at the drive thru".
  14. Great job. The 87-88 Coors T-birds are my favorites.
  15. That body color begs for a white interior, imo.
  16. I will tune in and check it out. Thanks for the heads up.
  17. Thanks for giving this a test. I was able to spray a test body last night and I liked what I saw. Covered extremely well, but I haven't had a chance to check it over today. Definitely looks promising.
  18. Charles Grodin was my favorite guest on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. Always hilarious.
  19. I was in Harbor Freight and found 10oz cans of Iron Armor primer for $4.00 a can. They have a filler version and a sandable version. I bought one of each. I was wondering if anyone here has tried them. The only thing I've been able to do is prime a couple of plastic spoons. It seems to cover well but it feels a little grainy; not rough, but not smooth. I haven't had the chance to put any paint over it yet but I have a practice body that I hope to test it out on soon. Do any of you have any experience with this product?
  20. It took my wife and I 9 months to find a house in central VA. Beginning of January 2019 to the middle of September. And it was supposedly a buyer's market in our area at that time. We know all too well about the frustration of seeing a house go on and off the market on the same day. Makes you wonder how other people are able to put in an offer that fast.
  21. The first car I drove after getting my license was my dad's '74 Pinto wagon. That pos was indestructible. The first car I bought was a bright yellow '70 Torino GT with a 351C 4V and FMX transmission. I bought it in '84 and I remember it being around $1,000.
  22. My 2 year old "reading" the latest issue of Hot Rod.
  23. Wow. Top notch work.
