  1. That looks MEAN! I love the stealth-mode colour scheme. Those seatbelts look good, too!

Nice to see an old kit brought to life! The wheel swap has given it a more menacing look. I love it (Seen plenty of these 1:1's in the UK, but they're rare now. Rust, running costs and spares, killed them)
  3. You made a nice job of that Nice details and BMF I dig your colour choice, too. The paint finish is very smooth as well.

Well, it was worth the wait..! A crisp build and I love the piping on the interior upholstery. Nice work all-round.
  5. The paint job really suits it! Mixing craft paint, with Windex? That sounds like alchemy! You got good results, by the look of it.
  6. I'd be very happy with that on MY shelf! Great weathering and also nice to see a neat little diorama, as well.
  7. A very sharp build. Good BMF skills and you got that black paint looking a mile deep. Very nice
  8. Apart from the excellent and clean building techniques, your photos really do your work justice! They look like manufacturer promo shots, or photos of 1:1 cars. Fantastic stuff.
  9. Perfect. My favourite is the middle one. The red paint looks awesome. Could easily fool someone into thinking it was 1:1
  10. Phenomenal skills! I love all the fabricating you did. Right down to the wing nut on the battery. Inspirational work. The sort of quality I aspire to. Thanks for sharing it with us.
  11. It might be your only build this year, but it's a very good one! Nice detailing. It looks very realistic. You don't see many nailheads, which is a pity, because they look great. Really good work
  12. This looks just right, too. Nice work, Don. I like the graphics!
  13. Great colour great subject choice I'll be watching your progress ?
  14. It ticks all the boxes, so far.! Great stance and wheels
  15. Your 4th model? Wow! I like where you're going with this. Swoopy smooth lines and a lower ride height, will make this look killer!
  16. Great to see a smaller scale here. Looks very good so far. I'll be checking in for more progress
  17. Excellent in every way! A very well executed build. I doff my cap to you.
  18. Crikey!! I lie a challenge, but that looks like you almost rebuilt the whole thing! Top marks for breathing life into a difficult kit
  19. Sweet! That's got me singing 'little deuce coupe' in my head. If I could make one suggestion...? If you have some Tamiya flat clear paint, give the seats a coat, to knock off the shine (Unless you wanted a shiny vinyl look, then ignore what i said) I'm going to try that SpazStix paint. i dunno if they sell it here.
  20. Thanks for the comments, everyone. Apart from me, you're the only people who get to see my builds, so your comments are valuable. After working 7 days on the trot, with 3 hours of commuting every day, I've not had much time to do any more to it, I'm going to finish this wagon, tomorrow. I'll give it a roof rack and surfboard in due course. It's going to have an aloha garland hanging from the rear-view mirror, made from red and white tissue, cut into little 'flowers' and strung on very fine wire. Possibly some interior junk and some cushions with skull patterns, tossed into the trunk. I really wanted to find a resin 'radio flyer' wagon and an old style coca-cola cool box, to go on the roofrack with a surfboard. Does anyone know where I could get one, or resin swamp cooler? If not, I might set myself the task of scratchbuilding them.
  21. Nice one, Bernard! A very original and imaginative rework, of an already very unusual design. I'm looking forward to seeing this finished, but I'm also fascinated to see how you progress.
  22. With a topic title like that, who wouldn't check this out!? I love it! This is gonna look fantastic when you get it done. I'll be checking in for more updates on this.
  23. That's a good colour. I bet it'll look special, with clearcoat. So, what are your plans for it? Mild custom, or something?
