  1. Looks like a clean build... do it justice with some better photos, mate.
  2. Super finish on them. The Porsche looks like Tamiya built it, for their catalog. primo!
  3. Wild! Looks half funny car, half road car. did the spoiler take a whack?
  4. Keep 'em coming! They're really good I especially like the diorama setting. When I saw the first photo, I honestly thought it was 1:1!
  5. Blimey! So much work has gone into this. It's fantastic!
  6. I love slamned Golfs! the wheels look excellent. Nice choice. great under hood details too.

Bags of attitude, excellent paint, not enough photos. A build like this deserves more, Brudda!
  8. Excellent work!
  9. Pristine work! So clean and crisp. A real beauty which I'd be glad to see on my shelf.
  10. Top build! Looks like it should be on the box! I've seen people slate this kit for various inaccuracies, but this shows none of that matters. What matters, is how much fun you have building it. And when it turns out as good as this, well...!
  11. A work of technical genius and art. Outstanding! I'm in awe.
  12. Man! The bar just keeps getting higher! That engine is superb. Not surprised you have a fixation with these cars. You build them SO well!
  13. Phenomenal! Way beyond me...! Very inspirational. Makes me want to do an insane mashup, too!
  14. This build is awesome! I love what you're doing with it. If I could make any tool/equipment recommendations, my tip would be to avoid cheap tools, especially brushes. Windsor &Newton watercolour sable, are my favourites. Never drop bristles. Had 'em for years. My other tip would be to browse jewellery tool suppliers catalogs. I was a goldsmith for several years and most of my old tools are now used for models. In particular, good quality stainless steel tweezers. Very pointed and stiff. They hold photoetch parts really well. Get two pairs and spark plug wiring is much easier. Side cutters, too. Good ones, like Larsson (0.35 - 1.25mm copper wire) . They cut really cleanly. Much better than hobby shop sprue cutters. And my favourite of all... Swann-Morton surgical scalpel with #11 blade. I hope this helps
  15. Thanks Tim, I'll be checking it out, for sure.
  16. Thanks guys. I'm glad you find this interesting. I've really enjoyed this build. Got the interior assembled. I tried PVA white glue for the flocking. It worked on my last build. But not this one. So I rinsed it off, dried it and used double sided tape. Pleased with the results. Then added the seats, etc. %5BURL=http://s173.photobucket.com/user/geetee66/media/E7C09C67-488B-49A8-A0F4-9C6B3C66F1C4_zpsgade0m5x.jpg.html] %5BURL=http://s173.photobucket.com/user/geetee66/media/6D0A4296-6713-485D-9572-8722EA371D69_zpsagpl6yba.jpg.html] %5BURL=http://s173.photobucket.com/user/geetee66/media/FAE8116A-A97A-4AC1-922F-8AAFE06D6615_zpsoqakufg1.jpg.html] thanks for looking
  17. Gordon Bennett! truly awesome build massive skills!
  18. Here's my woody:
  19. Very nice indeed! Thanks for showing us all your 4-link hardware. I think it's going to be useful reference, for when I attempt a similar setup for the Ford 105e resin body I just bought. I'll be watching your posts for tips on this
  20. Yeah, the colour is classy. nice valve cover painting, as well!
  21. I was going to say that. nice to see the resurrection of an old kit.
  22. And that, folks, is how you make a silk purse from a sow's ear. Just goes to show how almost any kit can be made better. Nice work!
  23. Wow! That chopped roof looks brilliant! I just built one of these, but mine isn't this cool. You aged it, really well. The effect is very realistic. inspirational.
  24. cheers Dave the guy who owns the 1:1 used this kit as a mockup. I've only seen his car online or anywhere else. He might have the only 1:1 in existence, I'm not sure. It certainly is a rare beast!
  25. Yep That works well. The roof flows nicely. Makes the car look longer, so it can definitely take those big rims. Very sleek looking
