  2. Excellent! you did that old kit justice!
  3. Brilliant! If I had a real one, it'd look like this. top build
  4. That's an incredible project! Looks 1:1. I don't think there's any higher praise than that.
  5. Thanks, Slotto! I've just given the skull decals a coat of candy green. One more colour to go. The same green as the engine and chassis.
  6. I watched some Lowrider videos on YouTube and I was smitten, with the quality of the work, on these cars. I try and do something new, on each build and learn as I go. So, this is the first time I've done a paint job like this. I'm going to buy an airbrush soon, but this is all rattle can paint. The tape is Tamiya 3mm flexible tape. It's ok for gentle curves, but not for tighter radius ones. It's probably easier in the long run, to make your own line tape, with twin blades on a sheet of glass. I'll do that next time.
  7. Looks like it could tear tar! makes me want to get one of these. nice job

  21. I've only just heard this terrible news. Words seem useless, right now. He was a legend in his own lifetime. Thankyou, Harry. For all the encouragement, inspiration and knowledge you gave us.
  22. I agree, Rick. I've gotta make that floor a bit grimy!
  23. Here's my first diorama. Two Fujimi garages and one tool set. I'm in the process of adding more to it, from my parts box and I'm also making some filter and spark plug boxes, from photo reduced prints. Having seen the quality of the dioramas here, I know it's got a long way to go, but I love the way a diorama gives added realism to our builds. Dang. something's gone wrong with Photobucket. I can't seem to link to an image that will appear. maybe this might work.. http://s173.photobucket.com/user/geetee66/media/Garage Diorama/261ED9A5-7BA9-4367-8B70-A726FF679522_zpsqagegd3i.jpg.html thanks for looking
  24. Utterly superb. it gets a big ye-haw! from me! I really dig your attention to detail, like the thumbed and grubby edges on the desk blotter. Outstanding!
