  1. Great to see a less-often built kit getting some attention. I built the Tamiya kit recently and it was a blast. yours looks very good so-far.
  2. Jaw-droppingly beautiful! I wish I could paint like that. So many classy details. Really, really good.
  3. Looks like a real thug! I dig the matching bezels and seat piping and yes, refreshing to see one without stripes!
  4. That engine is remarkable! I'm right into dioramas at the moment. Looks like you've constructed a very detailed and interesting scene, there.
  5. It looks great! The decals look good, too. I agree, it'll look awesome on your shelf.
  6. Great job! Very clean build and those wheels look just right. Gives it a bit of attitude.
  7. Hang ten!

    MPC J car

Very nice indeed! True, I've never seen one before. Top marks
  9. You got this wrestled into shape, very nicely. The wheels give it that little bit extra. I agree, it's great to see a dodgy kit given new hope!
  10. ditto! the whole thing is ace, but the little details make it awesomely ace!
  11. Super clean and sharp build! that paint is fantastic a very handsome addition to your shelf
  12. KILLER! super clean build. Everything about it, is cool.
  13. That car says "Grrrr!" Bags of attitude! nice build and good photos.
  14. Lovely job you did on that, Rich. What a shame Modelhaus has gone. I love these old Caddy's. Also, what a shame this was never kitted, by the big players.
  15. That's really nice. I expected to see a black and white car. The bronze looks stylish! Nice details, like the hood pins and wheel balancing weights. Those wheels look real tough n meaty!
  16. Looks good. I can't remember seeing one like this, before. Your top 2 photos are a bit out of focus, though. I'm not sure about how the rims sit against the tyres. They seem to protrude somewhat. Maybe an edge chamfering would bring them in, a bit.? not a criticism, just an observation
  17. Weird & wonderful! This is the first I've seen built. Looks like you nailed it. Very crisp.
  18. Proper grimy! Nice weathering and the interior wear & tear looks convincing. I also dig the use of the decals on the dash top.
  19. Very honourable! It's not often that you see one of these. Yours is top-grade. That interior is so sharp and the underside treatment looks very good. Just enough, not too much. Spot on.
  20. A great looking model, that you'd be forgiven for thinking it's 1:1. The backdrop diorama setting, gives it 'weight'. Are those wheels from a '70 super bee kit. They look familiar. They look good on this car. I also have a soft spot for wagons. Especially those from the '50's and '60's.
  21. Looks a bit of a beast! What happened to the paint on the rear end? Did you get some sort of chemical reaction?
  22. That works really well. Beautifully finished, too.
  23. Jolly good show, old chap! A great build of an unusual gasser. I like the rub marks on top of the driver's door. Nice touch.
  24. I love these Buicks. They're so distinctive. Excellent wheel choice. The box art ones look terrible!! Classy build. Looks expensive.
