  1. Leaving my local pick a part and saw this in the parking lot.
  2. Cool truck. You should do something different and drop in a pushrod motor ?
  3. They are the same. My uncle owns a 67 firebird with a 400sbc in it. The same trans. Mount and driveshaft was used with no modifications.
  4. I've never heard of this before but I do know if you put a sbc in these cars it's in the same location as the camaro engine. I know the driveshaft from the firebird is the same length as the camaro and also considering the bbc is bigger than the poncho engine I'd say the answer is no.
  5. Nice job getting the body back together.
  6. Looks great
  7. Very nice job
  8. Some of the best scratch building I've seen! Very impressive my friend.
  9. It gets better every time I come back to look! Absolutely beautiful mopar. Another show winner for sure!
  10. Nice chevelle
  11. A friend of mine has a fairly clean 83 gt he's asking 6k for it. It's a rust free 5 speed car.
  12. I've owned a few over the years. I also bought a new lx in 1989, it was medium scarlet red 5 speed car. I had a 3.73 gear, ported heads and a 150 shot on it by the time it had 30k miles on it.
  13. This has happened to me numerous times. The last package came from Texas to Chattanooga Tenn. which is about 10 miles from me it then traveled to Atlanta GA. which is about 150 miles away only to come back to Chattanooga lol. Maybe they should toss the computer/gps technology and do it like they did 30 years ago.
  14. 10 to 15k for a decent car. I bought my 92 calypso green lx as a roller and got a good price for it but I'm 15k into it now and I've done all the work myself.
  15. A nice 67,68 or 69 plymouth valiant would work for me.
  16. I got excited when I saw the topic. I have these 2 but could use a few more. It'd sure be nice to see this kit again.
  17. That impala is stunning! Very nice.
  18. That 2.5 fully dressed with turbos is around 400 lbs. A fully dressed 6.0 LS is around 460 lbs. So not much weight difference. Take the ls engine and do a cam swap add some 1.6 or 1.7 rockers with some 1 3/4 headers and the built 2.5 is no match.
  19. Very nice build
  20. Nice job
  21. Very nice job
  22. Here's another that would be a fun build.
