  1. I would suggest finding a chunk of 12 gauge STRANDED wire and use one of the strands from that. You will have to color it silver but it will bend any direction you want and stay there.
  2. Well done. Very nice interior. You did better on yours than I did on mine.
  3. Cool build. I have a Jimmy Flintstone resin 58 sedan delivery to get to one of these days.
  4. Great looking build. I like the color combo. I am on the fence as to purchase the Revell version.
  5. Great looking build so far.
  6. I am very impressed with both you craftsmanship AND your artistry. WAY cool build.
  7. That looks great. Very creative. The last pick shows you have a dimple to deal with above the passenger side headlight.
  8. The rarest I ever built was a JoHan Haulin' Hearse. I lost it long a go. The rarest one I have now is my 70 Grand Prix I rebuilt.
  9. Sanded tire treads and a red shifter ball. Nice touches on a beautiful build.
  10. Get a rectangular tub just big enough to hold a car body submerged. Make sure it has a lid that seals. Another alternative is the big plastic gallon tubs of ice cream. Though you will have to eat all the ice cream first. (The sacrifices we make for our hobby). As mentioned earlier. Super clean is more concentrated than Purple Power. I used the same jug over 2-3 years and dunked at least 10 bodies in it. I even left one in for 5 months with no harm to the plastic.
  11. Those turned out very nice. How did you make the distributor so realistic?
  12. The scoop is simple enough to make from evergreen sheet stock. I too, suggest the Motion Baldwin Camaro. Here is what I did with mine.
  13. Nice paint/color!

    The Yard

The weathering on the excavator is VERY realistic. Wow wow wow!
  15. That ridge really adds a nice touch.
  16. It is your project bu,t I think it would be more aesthetically pleasing if the "V" in the trim was centered in the space between the relocated door jam and the front edge of the rear wheel opening. ie rearward about 5/16" to 3/8". (my guess is not to scale)
  17. I have built a couple of these. I was inspired by my best bud who owns a 72 454 4-speed Heavy Chevy.
  18. PM sent (did not want to hijack the thread)
  19. I would suggest swapping in the engine bay from a 67 Mustang GT. This kit's engine bay is very SAD.
  20. If it were me, I would high-res scan them in my PC, clean up the edges and print out new ones.
  21. The B pillar, the wheel opening and the door lengthening will get you the best bang for your buck. Maybe shave the gas door. Chop the top a bit if you are into that.
  22. Cool build and uniquely yours.
  23. I feel for you. Hopefully a new, friendly kitty will be coming home with you soon.
