  1. Congratz on a successful build!
  2. Very nice build. May I suggest for better tire/rim realism, try this.
  3. I am always blown away the detail you accomplish so skillfully. The headers are AWESOME!
  4. I was looking at the 70 GTO conversion on ebay. I really want that rear wing. Thanks for the report on how much of a hassle it is.
  5. I am following along too. Batch building 3 Corvettes is high in the queue for me too ('69, '70, and '75.)
  6. My sentiments EXACTLY!
  7. Added a few more magnets to some items. Added sheetmetal to tire rack to keep gas and oil cans (which have magenets too) from falling off.
  8. I prefer Parafilm as well for masking. However, Press and seal does an ok job of keeping my paint booth walls from collecting build up and of dust and overspray. Pull toss and reapply.
  9. Excellent result. You made a very respectable representation of your vision.
  10. Thank you Carl.
  11. Chris, You are welcome. I recommend the hidden metal floor and getting magnets installed BEFORE paint. (Unlike me where I did it after). All the custom decals are fairly easy but time consuming. Enjoy (and share) your project.
  12. I will add Lisa to my prayer list. Doctors are like car mechanics. Some good, some not so much.
  13. Way cool! Where did you find this GTO Orbit Orange? I want to paint my '70 GTO that color.
  14. Cool! Are there many differences between a '53 and '54? My parents had a nice white '54 convertible with a red interior. I remember it vividly as the exhaust extension burnt my little grade school leg and left a scar for decades.
  15. Very nice work! I like the red sway bars. Nice touch.
  16. Very nice indeed. Does this kit come in a convertible version?
  17. I'm a little late to the party but awesome rig!
  18. Nice subject. My younger brother had a white one with a black vinyl top in high school.
  19. Very nice! Great stance and color. Congratz.
  20. WOW! I would be proud to have that on my shelf.
  21. I wanted a photo booth too. Ended up spending the last 3-4 months making it into a diorama/photo booth. Still need to work on the lighting. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/154551-grand-opening-of-the-american-restomod-workshop/
  22. 34"W x 11"D x 9"H because that is as big as will fit in my display case. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/topic/149032-90-display-case-with-addl-glass-shelves/
  23. That looks like a start to a hay hauling rig. Just need and additional flatbed trailer connected via pintle hitch.
  24. Are you going full tube frame too?
