  1. I am heading the warning and just bought the only 3 cans of WLC from my local Hobby Lobby. I have only had problems with really old half used cans spitting instead of spraying. I consider it the price I pay for waiting too long. I will likely breakdown and buy an airbrush then decant my ancient cans of paint with a controllable piercing tool.
  2. Anthony, Thanks. I just ordered a ProMod engine for it. I am getting antsy to get back to work on it.
  3. Wow, now I am really glad I bought 7 cans when I had the chance.
  4. SWEET! I recently purchased the same resin body. I even have pics of the same 1:1 for inspiration.
  5. Thanks guys. I want to get back to it as soon as I finish my diorama.
  6. Quite awhile ago I did do a 1/25 version of a Hot Wheels El Camino. It was a fun project,
  7. Nice work on the body mods. Following.
  8. Way cool van. You have done very well.
  9. I love your color and Chargers in general. Following.
  10. Nice effort. You have a good imagination to create subjects I would not even think of.
  11. Very nice build. One of these is on the to do list.
  12. Very sweet hearse. The Haulin' Hearse is on my Holy Grail list. I built one as a teenager.
  13. Very nice build. Color flames stance and all. I just recently acquired a resin 67 long bed and am learning the subtle differences between the years. Did you end up with any extra parts?
  14. Very nice build. When I was in the NAVY I went shopping for my 2nd car. One of these was on my short list. I did look at one in dark blue but the right front was all mangled from entering a ditch. I had enough cash to buy a good car so I passed on it. Always have like the lines on those Monte's.
  15. I like where you are going with this. Following.
  16. Thank you so much for the insight.
  17. So the earlier 64-66 chassis works and the tail gate logo is cut and paste. What about the windows and interior tub? I am more concerned with ease of fitment over accuracy.
  18. Looking for info on 1967 to 1972 Chevy trucks. I just recently made a trade for this resin 1967 Chevy Fleetside. There are no side marker lights ('67 only?). The grille seems to be '67 or '68. The bumpers read "1967". The back end is where I am confused. The tailgate shows the upscale trim level that I think first came out in 1969. The tail lights attached to the bumper look like upside down '66 or '67 Nova tail lights. The last picture is of the rear end of the bedsides for an AMT 1972 Chevy Fleetside. In that kit the taillights are separate chrome pieces. Does anyone know the history on the AMT annuals from '67 to '72? And, is the AMT 1972 Fleetside my only option for a donor kit? (I need glass, interior, chassis and suspension) I have plenty of spares for engine and wheels.
  19. Finally finished the back wall. It suffered from a severe case of mission creep. At first I was going with 3D printed windows and license plate decals on sheet aluminum. I still had lots of empty wall space so I added some road signs. After that it was street signs with the actual font used in the U.S. I was getting the hang of water slide decals on aluminum, so I added a few auto manufacture signs. The windows needed frames so I stained and clear coated some real wood. The scenery behind the windows is actually from a calendar. I took awhile, but I actually came up with an appropriate name for the shop and made a framed sign for it. Comments welcome.
  20. Sweet build. My dad had a light yellow one when I was a kid. I was 3 on the tree. The starter went out so he made us kids get out and push start it a number of times. He also showed me how to shaft gears without pushing in the clutch pedal.
  21. I see. While I have a few of those. They are not back in the queue yet. So... I guess I am out. I'll just encourage everyone else.
  22. No, it was before that. December was when I was taking another swing at it, found out the spindles were missing then it ground to a halt and I got distracted by my Freightliners and now my diorama. If you don't think it qualifies, that's OK.
  23. I noticed that too! I will be following.
