  1. A technique I use in miniature painting is to preshade... thusly darken your panel lines in a dark contrasting color to your primer before you lay your base coat. Sometimes after that doing anything additional isn't even necessary.
  2. Lol didn't look to see you were in UK.... yea that wouldn't be good.
  3. Car looks excellent! Wich F40 kit is that?
  4. I've got a regular "stock" lift back kit if you'd be interested in a swap...?
  5. I think I'm gonna try and buy the complete engine/trans off Doug. But if that doesn't work out that is certainly an option to consider. Just have to get the 300 kit.
  6. I'v got quite a few of these wheels in the stash I'd be willing to trade...
  7. Agreed! You got my vote! ?
  8. I just enjoyed seeing the oddball stuff that showed up from time to time.
  9. Yea id say the coast is clear as its gonna get... I enjoyed that game ?
  10. I've been away a couple years, what happened to the PIF thread? Or Kit roulette I called it?
  11. Yup use outlook for work email but that's it... Still use Gmail and hotmail for everything else.
  12. Yea, I try and grab them every time I can when the price is right.
  13. No way! Are you willing to get rid of one?
  14. Thanks. I eyed it last week but didn't want to pay the price knowing this week would be 40% off... The Foose truck I've kinda wanted for a while but it was basically impulse. The Nova just has too many good usable parts to pass up for like $13 if you get nothing from it but the chassis and the wheels/tires you are money ahead in my book.
  15. Yea, I may do that... or just make some myself worst case ?
  16. Christine... sounds dumb I know, but I want it to be as screne accurate as possible.
  17. Just get a rubber band and wrap it up... its a cheap tool... if it blows paint on the model for the price you win the game! ?
  18. That sir would be highly dependent on your standards... there's absolutely nothing wrong with Spray cans or paint brushes I have thousands of spray cans myself (literally) but an airbrush is just a tool... and is a very economical tool at that... in both time money and results rendered. For example doing color fades and preshading while not impossible with spray cans, it's just extremely difficult to get a comparable result. Not to mention the cost of paint no matter what you use pretty much, works out to be cheaper through AB because of less over spray and thusly less wasted paint. I'm not saying you are wrong, just saying you make a very bold statement with debatable claims. But most importantly...build more models! ? cheers!
  19. So finding that would be pretty much impossible I assume...
  20. Anyone know if any kits have these air cleaners?
  21. I reckon its just another creative outlet to use when you can't be bothered to build ? Or vice versa...
  22. Got these 2 today at HL on 40% week... and another 66nova for parts... Waiting on 3 fujimi kits to come in from PlazaJapan...
  23. Gentlemen was there a "misunderstanding" regarding my disaster of a model room ? I admit it's wreck... and yes I had to make a decision to either keep more models in the room and move guitars to the garage or vice versa... guess what doesn't like temperature change alot more than model kits?... guitars! ? I keep about 80 car kits and about 40 of other miscellaneous kits in the top of the closet in this room. The other side of the room is full of Warhammer models. The rest of the cars are in insulated totes in the garage. Anyway I took no offense at all...how could I after posting a picture that looked like a tornado blew through the room ?
