Great work! Looks stunning when painted, I know just how rough that surface must have been! Nice with a total custom “Kit” of such a incredible car! You haven’t researched in Sweden for printing in better quality with resin? Have been thinking of some 1:24 parts but need better quality than pla printers usually can make. Kul att se fler svenskar på forumet! -
God looking build, sad on the wheel but good that it got solved!

Great collection you have there! Some realy nice builds! Love the C5R's and man! Those display cutaways! They are incredible! The C5R's make me want to build one again, had a kit of the yelow one that got cut up for no good reason and left in pices at my house and a friends of mine. Some day i might buy a new one. Good work on those! -

Hi all! I decided to start on a quick project that i will try to finish the upcoming weeks so i get some motivation to keep going with my other ones ? The thought of this is how the McFly truck would have looked if the movie was made in the '90's instead of '87. So "Look at that 4x4!" What i won’t do is to make it LH drive. There is no such dash in this kit and i don’t want to buy the Surf Hilux just to get the LH dash, don’t feel for building that kit in the future. So RH drive will have to do it if no one have a spare dash laying around and want to sell it to me. This is the Aoshima lifted single cab Hilux with 2wd front end. I have mocked up the suspension with a "2 inch body lift to get the right height for Martys truck. Found some tires in the parts box which are about the right size. The wheels are from the kit and looks about right for the McFly truck! I had to narrow the front track and will do so for the rear as well so the tire tread stick within the body lines. According to all photos of the original I will build a bumper guard outside of the original bumper in front, a custom rear guard and a roll bar. I will make adjustments to my taste but it will look close to the original Next i have to get the 4wd grill and buper to fit good, wich comes from the double cab. I mocked it up, no picture, but it was to far out in this body. I will narrow the rear end by modifying the brake disc by about 2 mm per side. So this is the inspiration: They differ some between the different shots, especially the roll bar. I Will try to make the dubbel loop one. Untill next time. /Anton

Paint Booths & Safe Ventilation?
Mattilacken replied to Synister's topic in Tips, Tricks, and Tutorials
Finished my booth today. Thanks for all the tips! I had a kitchen cabinet laying around sou that got to be the base. fan is an exhaust fan with the possibility to wire it so it automatically revs up when blocked. Made a draft box bellow and put the fan behind and it vents to the outside through an existing ventilation hole. I drilled holes for 4 led spot lights and have sockets for 2 halogen in top for heat. Now what remains is to se how it works! -
Looking great as always! Paint job really helps the body design, looks much better in blue and white than in red!

I was browsing my kind of local hobby store today and found myself a Tamiya Aston Martin DBS For a decent price 54£. Was looking at eBay and saw they were taking over hundred pounds so I believe I got a decent deal. I didn’t intend to buy a model but I couldn’t resist since it was the DBS dot I were at the factory in 2006 For three weeks and built the 1:1 db9. And also rode in a bunch of Astons Through the press garage at the factory.I even had great luck to be able to work on one of those with disassembling the whole driveline to be able to change some parts. So I couldn’t pass up on this kit! And I might need to get a full photo etched for it...
