Wow the board tops 1200 members, and #1200 is a Viagra salesman from the states , all that aside I also noticed that in June , 196 users were on-line here and the ''guest'' numbers are always pretty high , its the stomping ground for some great topics and model builders and I'm glad to be a part of it. Great job Gregg and Jairus keeping the board open to all opinions on virtually any topic , model related or other.

Talk about doing something way different for Fathers Day...my wife and I headed out on a 3 hour trek to Grand Rapids Michigan . We were met at the door by Tom Carter and chatted for awhile. He then talked with her while I went on a spree...after my wife and I went to lunch I was ready for round 2...of browse and buy...Tom was a great host and fun to chat with ...Ron was ready assist at the parts table diggin' into parts piles helping you find those special items. I also got one and compared the two kits,,,, mine did come with [2] front working coils and [4] 2pc slicks....the original came with [4] extra headlight lenses and dont know if its right or wrong but my original has [4] firestone supremes,rather than Goodyears ,,,,,,other than that its the same...a little more flash than years ago but I love it..... Robert , Hasagawa historical series gas some real nice subjects , I've been buying alot of Tamiya , fujimi and Aoshima kits myself... This 1971 Miura P400 SV was acctually sent to the Ismael stable of exotics in a trade

Living in the Chicago area we still have a bunch of Hobby shops to choose from.... Venture , Forever Timeless Hobbie Shop and Al's Hobby Shop are a few , and when I'm on the road there are a few I can park the truck at or near by.. ''Wild Bills'' in Irving Texas [about as jammed with kits as you can get] and ''Top shelf'' in Owasso Oklahoma are among my favorites to visit..I still like browsing the aisles and talking with real people....I deal on the internet for the ''odd'' or ''hard to get'' kits.......

I like the color on that bantam , what paint / color is that....how can you go wrong with a Willys p.u....looks good...

I couldnt draw flies with a pants full...Yad and everyone else in the ''Auto Art '' section are very talented , each one a seperate style and way to get there....and its all great stuff...

Welcome Robert , its pretty hard to be on a board and only talk about selected kits , topics here are pretty open and easy to find and reply to.
