Yeah, I went a couple days ago here in Columbia, TN, cars kinda thinned out. I'm wondering it their are a lot of models and hobby items in containers sitting in the LA port. Oh, and they had a few MM spray paints and surprisingly, not marked down.
Hi Zack. I complimented your Cobra a while back and about how good the Future looks. Did you polish it after applying it? I'm thinking about used it on a current build.
Kinda late responding to this. I have to ask tho, I'm sure you did, but after polishing did you remove the polish from the paint before you did the future?
Those Impala wheels are soooo close. Didn't realiz
No problem Peter. I didn't realze they are faux wire wheels. Those Impala wheels that "tbil" showed are soooo close. Problem now tho is where can you get some. Good luck Buddy!!
It's been so long since I have seen any decent car kits at my Ollies I don't remember when it was, probably as long a 2 years, But mine is not in a major city so that may be an issue.
Though I've gotten hooked on Createx pearl colors (also an acrylic) I do like and have gotten some nice paint jobs with Anita's also. I don't specifically measure the paint to thinner ratio. The rule of thumb is mix to consistancy of 2% milk but I just add enough to get a good spray out. Windex, Auto Windshield washer fluid, Alcohol all work pretty much the same.
Kinda hard Peter to make out in the pic exactly what the wheels look like. Better pic would be helpfull. I'm wondering too if an Australian car would have the same wheel covers as an American delivered one.
My 2 cents, if it's gonna be a true old style drag racer, the one's on the left. The larger with low profile tires is more of a resto mod look.
What you guy's think??
