  1. Very nice job there Burke, yellow and it actually looks good. All kidding aside, looks great!?
  2. Thanks Josh. I think I mentioned it's the first Ford model I've build (with exception of some Nascar kits years ago). Will be paint weather here this week so gonna try out the Stynelrez primer on it. Oh I am neighbor, can't let it beat me up too much?
  3. ?I/stock automatic Falcon (I'm assuming the 6cyl). That must have been a real neck snapper LOL!!!
  4. ? Well shoot Mark, now something else I have to think about doing?
  5. Looks great John. I need a set of similar tires if anyone who see's this has any.
  6. Well you're dong a whole lot of work on that one John.
  7. Very cool AWB racer. Great job Aymer.?
  8. Looks cool, likely to never see one painted like that again. Good job?
  9. I wonder until what model year that asphalt process was being done.
  10. I missed your post last week Bill. Thats crazy. I'm sure tho, that's is probably more common then we would think. Not so much anymore, I don't know if it's because of the newage computorized engines, but I remember many times driving behind cars that the exhaust had a oder of old oil and I always assumed the idiots hadn't changed oil in ages.
  11. I guess on Don Gay '66 is the only notable one left. I sure understand frustration, both my current builds have been getting to me too.
  12. Oh yeah, I like's it!! Nothing wrong with a KISS build!! Nice job Steve?
  13. Wow Lee, looks great. So many of these cars are built as drag cars, it's rare to see one un-modified ?
  14. Super nice Russell, beautiful finish and detail.
  15. Maybe build the other one as one of other pro raced '66 stockers. Pretty sure there are decals available....I think.
  16. Here's my take on "in-accuracies" FWIW. Really how many people are gonna notice. Sure the "experts" on certain cars will but again how many of those will will looking at it. I consider myself pretty knowledgable on '57 Chevies. I have built a few and I don't think there is a perfect '57 Chevy kit but I just don't pay much attention to the in-accuracies, at least to the point of doing major "surgery" to correct them. I guess I don't have full blown OCD. I hope I haven't offended anyone.... just saying.
  17. Come on Craig, you didn't use craft paint on the wheels?????? Looking good my friend.
  18. Unfortunately, Hobby Town as far as I know are only in major cities. I wonder how many of us live over 50 miles from a major city. Heck, Nashville is the closest for me and no Hobby Town there.
  19. I'm really not much of a "blower" fan Mark but as wishy-washy I'm being with it whooooo knows??
  20. I with you on your statement Bob, same here and thanks Marcos for posting this. Will probably be a bunch of questions. Where do you get the "brackets" ??
  21. Hmmmm, and I have this kit to build. And yep Dan, dried decals as I have just myself learned, might as well be painted on. Only way I got my miss-placed decals off was to sand the of, and even that was a paint. Then of course, will need a new paint job.?
  22. Just so you know, the Johan kit is not a very good model, but with some work it comes out OK.
  23. A lot of great info there Greg, thanks man!!
  24. Hi Joe, just checked in on this build...... coming along nicely as I have come to expect from you.?
