  1. Do it up right and it will be a unique build. Good luck John. Don't know if you saw my '71 Cutlass build last month, it's a similar car.
  2. Thanks guy's, makes sense. But how do I know what will fit the body I may use..
  3. I thought all the engine options was cool too, the big block on mine but single 4bbl (at least for now).
  4. Very cool Bill?
  5. Good lord, I can't even imagine how much that engine build cost on the "Little Bomb".
  6. Sure would be usefull with this crazy winter storm thats gone thru here.
  7. Don't know if there has been any threads on here about how to design and build a pro mod or drag car chassis/frames. As a relative novice with basically only OOB builds, I'd kinda like to dive into this type of project. Also, maybe there are after-market suppliers of frames but I can't find any. Any help will of course be appreciated.
  8. Cool Jim, seldom see a streetable Thunderbolt.?
  9. Whoa, thats sinister looking, wicked!!!!! If I may ask, what tires are those??
  10. Let me be the first to compliment you on your build Luke, looks great with the exception (it's just me) of the, well, you can probably figure that out.
  11. Wow, that must have been tough with no electricity. We were afraid that would happen here south of Nashville but were so lucky. Temps in the low to mid teens is crazy. I'm working on the engine on my '63. I guess its gonna be a kinda restomod.
  12. I tried again.
  13. One wild looking body there Marcos. Gonna be cool!!?
  14. You see my message Chaz?
  15. Brush on Model Master transparent red for taillights for me.
  16. No help here either, city pretty much shut down......no mail or delivery services for several days now. Sunshine today tho.
  17. Sending you a private message
  18. Sanded off the crooked decals since none of the suggestions to remove them I got on another thread failed. So of course had to remove the foil trim, windows, etc. My wife ordered another kit so now I will have 2 to build (one the 350H and the other don't know yet. My plan is to use the new body on this build. Hopefully better paint job next go around. Thanks for asking.
  19. Here south of Nashville we got probably twice as much as we've ever got in the 14 years we have lived here. Don't laught you snow belt folks, probably 5-6 inches ?
  20. Now for someone to try this stuff. I'll be waiting ?
  21. Hello my Tennessee neighbor, here south of Nashville this is probably twice the snow we have ever got in the 14 years liiving here.
  22. Ditto on the Krylon, but I haven't bought any in over a year so I'm gonna start using the Stynylrez on Dave's recommendation.
  23. Good point Tim, I sure can improve on my re-do.
  24. Ya know as , I'm kinda thinking the same thing about the curbside thing. For me, only my wife, daughter and myself see the results of my labor. They know diddly about engines and undercarriages but do like to look at cool cars. Sure, all the detailing looks great and there is impressive work being done but is it really worth all the extra effort, at least in my case for a model that is just gonna be put on a shelf? My rant for the day? //
  25. I had to do my first reworking of a build and it sucks doesn't it!!!!! And all because I screwed up hood and roof stripes.
