  1. On what part of the car are you referring too Jim?
  2. I'm making a Hobby Lobby run tomorrow to see if my local store has any of the MM Metalizer paints left on the shelf. Especially since the 40% is going away.
  3. Wow Mark, you're putting in a tremendous amount of work on that one. Looking at the model last night, because of the way it has the moulded in rear suspension I'm trying to figure out how to put wide tires on the rear without them sticking out the side of the wheel well.
  4. That one's gonna be cool Andrew!!
  5. Looks great Randy like the color!! ?
  6. Pretty darn realistic looking "beater". Great job Anthony!!
  7. Yep, the finish is what I'm curious about. Maybe an off white and kinda dirty it up with a brown wash. I looked at some other pictures and it looked that way.
  8. I know this is gonna be cool!! I'll have my eyes on this.
  9. Wow, you REALLY wanted that one. Good luck with the build.
  10. Thanks Tom and I agree on both points, the decals and S/S cars.
  11. I was looking at reference pics of '63 Corvettes before building my '63 model and found the following interesting picture. Since I've seen most modelers paint the undercarriage all black you can see that the actual floorpan appears to be unpainted fiberglass. This picture is of a NCRS Top Flight rated restoration.
  12. I have the "Street Rod" version of this kit and just opened it up. Yep, definately a "crude" kit and not what I was expecting; most all of the interior moulded in and all the chassis parts as well including the exhaust system. Not sure now if it's gonna be a mild street mod or Drag car. In spite of the deficiencies, you did a great job on it Lee?
  13. Good info, thanks all.?
  14. I'll be the first to compliment you on this build. Looks great Jason, looks flawless?
  15. Now that's one I've never seen before. Very cool. I'm assuming only in Australia and Canada?
  16. Dave, please explain how to backflush for us kinda newbies.
  17. Thanks Larry and my Tennessee neighbor Carl.
  18. Another great looker Tom, they are pretty cool cars?
  19. WOW!!! Thats just flat out beautiful. Great work Larry!!??
  20. ? That would make for a heck of a bumpy ride!!!?
  21. For what it's worth, in my opinion the 1:1 '61 is best looking Impala ever made. Anyway, I assume this kit is the same as the Nicholson race car, and if so as I remember this is a very easy and satisfying build. I know you'll do it up right Geoff.
  22. I can't stress too much how I lovin this build Marcos my friend.. I've owned a lot, a whole lot of cool 1:1 cars and I always thought a notchback Mustang was one I would love to have and modify. Never will (too old and retired), but I can sure enjoy watching the outcome of this!!
  23. I have 2 of the kits, one the original and the other the re-issue but I planned to do one as a vintage drag car and the other a street rod. One day I'll get around to it.
  24. Thanks a lot Mark for those details. Great info!!
  25. I Have one Dave but I have to paint in my unheated garage. I can get it heated up to about 60 degrees when outside temp is a little over 50 degrees.
