  2. Very nice David, excellent foil work too.
  3. Looks great Nigel, but a Ford color on a Vette???? Just messin with you??
  4. Geez, everytime I look at this thread and the engine install issue I get very nervous about starting the one I have.?
  5. Again, thanks very much for the kuddos from you all.
  6. Looks great Lee, I have one to build I got for Christmas. I'm usually a Corvette purist but I have seen some pretty cool looking mild modded ones that I think I'll do. Beautiful job on that one!?
  7. Probably a little known fact that I recently read in Hemmings News about the '66 Buick Wildcat GS. Only 1224 GS's were built and of the W14-spec 360HP 425 Super Wildcats, only 21 were built in 3 different models.
  8. Looking great Mark and as far as accuacy, how may people would know anyway. It's just a cool looking car?
  9. Looks great and those pictures, wow.
  10. If I don't recognize the number I decline the call and immediately block it!! I may be losing out on some great prize but I seriously doubt it?
  11. Looks great Tim, I painted 2 models that same exact paint, great color. Doing my first ever Mustang right now (GT350H)
  12. Very nice Lee!!
  13. Good job Carl!!
  14. Beautiful car there Anders, great job??
  15. Wow Marco, thats beautiful and another masterful paint job by you.??
  16. Hobby Lobby is my only source (other than online of course) for my modeling products and kits so yeah the discontinuation of the 40% deal is a downer. I don't know how many folks here on the forum live in larger metropolitan areas but in my case (40 miles from Nashville) there is not one single actual hobby shop like the old days.
  17. Thanks so much for all the compliments!! So far I have built 4 models of cars my wife and I have owned and 1 currently owned with still more to do LOL.
  18. All my painting is done in my garage (not heated) but of course now being wintertime it's not happening very much. I got a new airbrush for Christmas and have yet to use it. As for the Rustoleum, I used it twice with good results and you're right about being more cost effective.
  19. Thanks Craig. I wonder how feasible it would be to use the convertable and add the hardtop.
  20. For sure Francis, at least to me the 66-72 GM cars were the coolest and thanks for the compliment.
  21. Well Craig, the smell would be a problem.
  22. Crrrrr-azy!!! Is it coming or going!!???
  23. Great job Craig and I'm glad to see another craft paint job that came out so nice. I'm pretty sure the craft paint route is gonna be for me. You might want to consider Rustoleum Acrylic Laquer clear. I just love the easy clean-up and if done right the smoothness. Great looking Olds?
