  1. Thanks, Dave. You've been a wealth of knowledge on this one. Thank you.
  2. Very nice. That Camaro in the background looks tasty!
  3. Thanks, Dave. Did those swooped panel lines have the option of a pinstripe? Just asking cos I may do a fine line just along the top of the features.
  4. Thanks, David.
  5. Thanks, Gerald. Yeah, brown was another close candidate for my choice of paint, bland colours seem to suit this car quite well, haha!
  6. Thanks, Curt. I'd love to see another build of this!
  7. Those decals are from the Revell 64' Impala low rider.
  8. Thanks, Anders.
  9. I've replaced the carpet in a few of my cars from back in the day too. My mate thought I did such a good job he asked if I could do his car. My mum was throwing out the lounge carpet that was put down in the 70's, it was all strange colours, blue and orange swirls, so I put that in! We got a good laugh out of it and was always a talking point when riding in his car, Lol!
  10. She's all finished. Pictures in the completed models section!
  11. All done, and finished in a very exciting two tone beige, Lol. Gold with a brown roof came close to happening, also metallic blue with a white roof, but I decided to do it in a colour scheme I would have ordered from the dealer if I was around at that time when these cars were new. The only fit issues were because of paint thickness, the whole kit go's together very well. The axles have adjustable ride height for the low rider version so I just set them where it looked right and glued them in place. The body colour is Sandalwood Beige, and the Landau roof is Tuscan Beige. Whitewalls are decals from (if I'm remembering rightly) the 1964 Impala. Thanks for following the build in WIP, really enjoyed this one. Don't overlook these Snaptite kits, they will surprise you! Enjoy the pics:)
  12. That's very well done. Those big fatties look great! I love the engine detail and the idea of the masking tape for the belts.
  13. Thanks, Pete.
  14. Looking good, can't wait to see this with all the trim and everything!
  15. That looks like Damask Red, I did my Cyclone GT in that. It's actually a really nice colour!
  16. Thanks, Dave. I thought the same after some thought, so I left the carpet alone as is. Yeah, I love the Rally wheels. I was happy they came with the kit and not a low rider only set. The painted side option came close to happening, but I've decided to leave it.
  17. Cracking job on the paintwork, really nice!
  18. Very nice build. Those BMW 507's are very pretty cars.
  19. Thanks, Larry.
  20. Flipping heck, that's some detail! great work.
  21. Lol, I need to stop to be honest. I have no room whatsoever for any of the models I've done so far. They go back in the box, now I'm even running out of space to stack the boxes!
