  1. I'll think of something. I still have the pick-up tub from the 1970 Pontiac. I can't scratch build so it'll never be a car again so will probably end up being a custom pick-up.
  2. I'll try that next time. I did something similar on my 70 Pontiac but with grey Humbrol.
  3. Been wanting to build the 66 Olds 442 for a while now and finally managed to get one, they're pretty hard to find in the UK. I want to build it up as the WCFL radio news car. It was a white Cutlass, so there are some visual differences, like the wheels and some trim items. Hopefully I can get it looking as close to the original car as possible.
  4. Thanks, Rob. I have another kit coming up soon, thankfully not so chrome heavy this time!
  5. Looks great. I'd be more than happy with that. Are you going to do the side markers? or, like me sometimes, is it a case of that's good enough, haha.
  6. Nice work on the foiling. Can see it taking shape now.
  7. Crocky in the back window! haha, is it a "Snap Tite"? I like the airbrushed effect around it, very nice.
  8. Very nice. I like those wheels, they suit the car perfectly.
  9. Beautiful. The badges look like separate parts! I've always liked the oval styled wheel arches on these cars.
  10. That's pretty cool. Welcome to the forum.
  11. Very nice. The red Kenworth brings back memories. My dad built one in the early 80's based on "BJ and The Bear" Probably what got me into model building. Nice line up.

Nice! I wish my builds turned out like that when I was 12! Man, I wish my builds turned out like that now, Lol!
  13. Thanks, guys. Hey, I'd love to see a 3rd gen Chevelle build!
  14. Thanks, Mark. It's not bad, I could have done better on the door cards and dashboard, but I know now how not to do it next time, haha!
  15. It's going to take a bit more than glue to fix this. I'll get back to it eventually.
  16. ok, I've decided to shelve this project for now. It's way beyond my skill level after cutting so much out! I also broke the windshield frame while handling it, so before I get too frustrated I've put it away until I gain a bit more experience in this. Sorry guys, I tried and failed but at least I know box stock is my level at the moment.
  17. Looks very good! The Cyclone is a nice little kit.
  18. I only noticed the differences after I cut the roof off! I've cut the panel back to the trunk line so I can rebuild it up to parcel shelf.
  19. Lol, I've done that, store something so safely it gets lost completely!
  20. It's more involved than I thought. I think the boot/trunk is longer on the convertible.
  21. That's a wild looking Mustang. It's going to look amazing when completed.
  22. Nice work on the foiling. Interior is really nice. Lovely build, first one I've seen.
  23. No going back now! Roof is off. I'm getting everything trimmed nicely to fit right. The fold down roof is a good fit but I needed to cut back the arms, they were a bit too long. It's not the right roof for this car but it'll look good, trust me! I may need to use some filler to finish but so far it's going well. This is my first time I've got this deep into a build, I've never cut the roof off a model before so this is kind of scary for me, Lol!
  24. Very nice. I love the interior detail, and the colour.
  25. Beautiful, the colour is perfect.
