  1. Thanks, Cliff.
  2. Stunning. Some nice work on the underside and engine bay.
  3. Can almost hear it burbling away!
  4. The paint is awesome!
  5. Nice. There's something about the older kits.
  6. That's a nice build. It's got that late 60's custom vibe about it.
  7. Thanks, guys. Yes, it's a shame Pontiac is gone. Pontiac would definitely have been my choice of GM car if I was around back then in the states.
  8. Some progress. Got the underside painted and masked up ready for the exhaust, and the body is ready for some colour. Engine is done, looks odd without HT leads. I really need to start wiring my engines!
  9. Lovely. I like those wheels.
  10. Thanks, Anders.
  11. Thanks, Steve. Yeah, I was going to paint it flame red with a white interior cos none of the blue or green metallics I have suited it, so I took a chance on a dark gold and it turned out great.
  12. Nice work on the dashboard. I like the red accent along the lower trim.

    Nice! Those wheels look great.
  14. Man, that car is perfect, America had the best cars! This is what we had!? been my daily for five years.
  15. Thanks, man. I still lay the odd fingerprint on my builds, xD I'm still getting lost amongst peoples past builds in the model cars section, it's something to see! Glad you like the cab, it's one of my favourites.
  16. Right then, another one on the kitchen table:D This time it's the 1962 Buick Electra by AMT. Box art is lovely with the main picture showing the customised version. A quick look at the kit inside makes me wonder how on earth the mould still survives and wasn't scrapped decades ago! I forgot to take pictures of the mould lines but they were everywhere. They were so bad it's as if the two halves of the moulds weren't lined up, creating a step wherever there was a casting line! Sanding down the cast lines removed a lot of the detail because so much material had to be taken off. The front and rear wings have a shaped angle to them, I had to re shape those because the amount of sanding I did removing the cast lines flattened them out, taking the fuel filler and door gaps with it! Also the trim that runs along the side of the car turns into two trim lines then back into one, it looks like the mould didn't close properly or the mould really is that worn out! Anyway, I've done what I can with it, including re-scribing the trim along the sides, the fuel cap and filling in a missing chunk around the front windscreen with filler. Me and this kit are going to get on just great, I can tell! xD
  17. Great diorama. Looks like something ominous is going on, with the phone off the hook and bonnet open, lights left on! Maybe he has info on the Kennedy assassination, or maybe witnessed Jimmy Hoffa being buried and got tailed! xD
  18. Thanks, man:) I'd love to see the build on the Grand Prix! Can't find those for love nor money in the UK:(
  19. Thanks, Larry.
  20. Would love to build some four door stuff like this but too much work for me!
  21. Thanks, guys.
  22. Nice deep blue on that. I like it!
  23. Beautiful! Very clean build. The mocked up prostreet would look amazing. Just the wheels and the stance completely changes the car. Looks like you spent hours making a funny car body!
