There's no winning when it comes to Karens, mate, they'll always find something to p**s and moan about, though Round2 could throw in a couple of kegs since now it's age restricted, everyone's a winner, Lol!

"Intended for adults 21+" Does it come with real Miller beer in there? Artwork is pretty cool, even if it looks like it's parked on a lead lined roof of a building!

Yeah, the headlights are a little bug eyed but it doesn't bother me that much. I decided to go with a colour change though kind of regretting it now. I've had this metallic blue hanging around for a while and decided to use it, it's a lot darker than I was expecting and it has a bit of a green tinge to it. I don't have any more of this colour left and now I'm stuck on what colour to do the interior! I think it's a little too dark for the interior anyway, but any suggestions on interior colours will be welcome! I still have the secondary colour to do, white or maybe cream? I don't know, this blue is a strange shade and I cant visualise what colours will work with it. I could always do a light custom job, I have plenty of gasser decals and such, so there are options.

Yea, definitely a brand new mould. The winder cranks are in different positions too, and the door latch lever looks thinner on the four door. I'm still hoping they have something planned though, maybe a station wagon? 'hint, hint' Round2, haha.

Yes, I can see now they are very different. Strange how there is a parting line on the new four door panel exactly where a two door shut line would be though. Maybe Round2 have something in store for the future?

Very nice work, these are going to look great. Beautiful looking bodies for a gasser.

I'd love to do a grain truck but haven't found anything here I can use for the bucket, and aftermarket parts for kits in the UK just doesn't exist. Can't even buy from the EU anymore without extortionate postage prices. I'll probably use a different kit to the aerodyne for a grain truck anyway. If I find a suitable trailer I might use the Mack Cruse Liner I have, but I think the chassis is a little short on that so will have to figure something out there.

That paint looks amazing! It's one of those kits that fly under the radar, probably because of the box art, it's widely overlooked. Excellent job on this, and that red interior looks spot on, very nice build!

I've been wanting to pick it up again for years but never really had the time until lately. The drawings I posted here were mostly done when I was in school. I would skip the odd lesson like R.E and P.E, head to the toilet cubicles with my bag, light up a cigarette and start drawing, Lol! I was starting to take huge interest in artists like Art Fitzpatrick and Van Kaufman, the Ford La Tosca concept car above shows how influenced I was by their art and the style I wanted to master, later I even did some air brush paintings in art college. I learned how to shade and cast shadows, some of my art looked almost identical to Fitzpatrick's work, but I wasn't there long and none of the paintings have survived.

Clearing up some space in the home earlier and found my old sketches I did as a teen. These were all done in the 80's and 90's. Not sure if I can draw like this anymore, I haven't picked up a pen or pencil since.

Here's a shot of the door cards showing where the line of the two door version was. I'm thinking Round2 modified the old original two door mould and made a completely new mould for the two door. It makes sense, why not clean up and modify the old mould if your going to make a new mould anyway.

Excellent work on the fender, this model is in good hands. Can't wait to see it finished.

There's a kit for all tastes out there. Personally I love that some of the older simple kits are being released. I'd probably lose interest in the hobby if every kit out there was a realistic looking high parts count build, it can be a bit of a grind sometimes so it's nice to build basic every once in a while an if you feel like adding more detail to them.. you can, and you can go as far as you like.

Like red and white I call it a 'cop-out colour combo' Lol. They always look good together in any combination on almost any car!
