  1. Great looking Pontiac.
  2. Thank you, Dave. Good point on the 1 oz unthinned versus 2 oz thinned. I have a 2 oz bottle coming, so that should be good for a couple quick spoon tests and the body.
  3. 1973 Pontiac Grand Ville coupe. Looked to be all original. Talked to the owner a bit, he had it since 1976. Was on his weekly mini-golf date with his wife. Dark brown metallic with a beige-ish vinyl top. Pretty nice looking car.
  4. Yes, I have been doing a lot of image searches. But sometimes, like you said, you see things that don't match. And it is difficult to tell what is correct or not. Like headrests. The MPC kit comes with head rests, which I suspect were added when the molds were updated, as the kit also includes a 70ish nose and spoiler. Image searches of 1967 GTO interior shows some very nice ones with and without headrests. One even had rear bucket seats and a full length center console.
  5. Thank you Steve. Maybe I will just run some spoon tests before I tackle the body. Its for a GTO build, so black on the engine bay and nothing on the interior that is body color.
  6. That's looking really good.
  7. Great looking GTO. Definitely made a silk purse out of a sow's ear.
  8. I am convinced a lot of people believe that the gas and brake pedals are just switches. Full on and full off only.
  9. Looking to order Tyrol Blue from Scale Auto Finishes for my 1967 GTO build. New to the airbrushing world, and to scale auto finishes, so I'd like to try a test body first to make sure I have the process correct. I will be using their primer also. Will a 2 oz bottle of their paint (described as airbrush ready) be enough to easily cover 2 bodies? Thanks.
  10. Great looking 57! Excellent work on the kitbashing.
  11. Paint looks great. That yellow and white combo is a classic work truck look.
  12. Thanks. It'll be a while, I sure don't win any building races.
  13. I am curious what engine the resto-mod release includes. Is it a newer small block or LS? I was under the assumption "resto-mod" meant newer (often modern fuel injection) drivetrain in an older body.
  14. Trim looks very nice. I may have to try out the tape as a cutting guide trick.
  15. That looks really good chopped like that. Definitely changes the attitude of the truck. The nose and fender proportions look very different.
  16. That is a really cool display on the history of AMT. Thank you for sharing.
  17. Great looking build and detail work.
  18. Got some paint on the engine. 25 year old Model Masters Pontiac engine blue. Also the first time airbrushing in 25 years.
  19. What a great rebuild of an older model. Would never guess it started as a glue bomb.
  20. Great looking little tractor. I mowed a lot of grass with a '53 Ferguson, TO-30 model. Those little workhorses are fun.
  21. Any particular release of the GTO you need? I have several of them in the parts stash.
