  1. Another sweet build.
  2. That's looking really nice so far. Love the mods to the rear end to get those meats to fit.
  3. That trailer turned out great. The whole rig looks pretty darn cool. Inspiring work for sure.
  4. Reminds me of a service manager I briefly worked under. His firm belief was, and quoted multiple times, "screw em for every penny, they probably won't be back anyways."
  5. In many states in the US, studded tires are illegal to use on roadways, as they are very hard on the road surface.
  6. That tool box looks great, nice work.
  7. Great build. One of those is on my to build list for sure.
  8. Yep, will do. Thanks for the headsup.
  9. Brought this home from my Dad's today. It was his Dad's. Hasn't been plugged in for over 30 years. I am just dipping my toes into welding. Just need to get 220v run to the garage.
  10. Sweet looking truck. That black looks awesome. It's not a real truck if the bed isn't 8 feet, LOL!
  11. Great looking Chevelle. I like the matching engine/body color.
  12. Good luck, and those look like some serious rigs.
  13. Lead shot will be denser than the wheel weight. Wheel weights are an alloy that is less dense than lead.
  14. Yep, I will order a set here in the near future.
  15. I like that blue. And man, that is in the weeds all the way. Very nice.
  16. 11 years of flat rate wrenching was enough for me. Doesn't surprise me that every dealer has "Mechanics Wanted" signs out front.
  17. I had a Boar's Head sandwich once, purchased in the O'Hare airport. Before a flight to Poland. That wasn't a wise choice. Haven't purchased a Boar's Head product since.
  18. I love the roof rack. My dad used his 67 GTO to tow the fishing boat.
  19. I don't have any pics right now. I regularly use my dad's single mantle and grandpa's double mantle when I am camping, or working in the fur shed in the winters. Light and heat is a nice combo. Just hearing the hiss of one of those lanterns triggers lots and lots of memories. I also use a 1987 vintage two burner white gas stove when I am camping, or we lose power at home. I have two of them, my dad's and 1 I picked up free at the town "recycling center". As a kid, most of our family camping equipment (tent, stove, lantern, sleeping bags, etc) was Coleman branded. Even had Coleman hiking boots.
  20. I did just that over lunch today. Found several places that have them for about $20. Thanks.
  21. I am not sure as to accuracy or not, but my dad built this model, And for balance, he scratch built a ladder that went into a hatch in the rear of the fuselage. Very nice build so far.
  22. Love the orange color, and the meats in the rear. Nice build.
  23. Very nice build. Love the vinyl top and the engine detailing.
  24. There should be stamping on the bottom, a month and a year. That will tell you when it was made. I still use my grandpa's and my dad's. Mantles should be available in outdoors stores. Nice lantern.
