  1. Thanks, I have to investigate if they send packages to Sweden. That's one reason why I prefer kit bash, AMTs 3 in 1 and 3D-printing.
  2. I am grateful for Round 2's both volume and spread. I have been in and out of the hobby all my life (now and going forward it will be in). In the 1990s I was in for a while and the shop had very few kits that I wanted to build. My luck then was that it was possible to buy up some old kits from friends who focused on their 1:1 cars, but today thirty years later we would be without both complete kits and parts. I prefer to kit bash before resin and there I think Round 2 does a great job of releasing AMT's old 3 in 1 kits that are full of fun stuff and above all sensible stuff. Now there is an alternative to kits that have been semi-ambitiously updated with billet parts and big rims and I am grateful for that. Can we get some kits with inline 6's, 4 doors and small hubcaps I wouldn't sleep but that customer group is probably too small. If Round 2 also released the Dualli wheels from the 90s promos, life would be at its peak.
  3. Fantastic build, which kit or which resin caster do the wheels come from ?
  4. I’m just an ordinary builder who struggles with, among other things, old AMT kits, but this is how I do it to be able to paint deep rims. Flat colors are easier, thin the paint and paint a few thin coats with a brush and clear coat last. Mount the rim on a tothpick and rotate the rim against the brush. If you must use an airbrush, pant the rim in steps, roll an piece of paper lika a tube 2 mm smaler than the rim and spray, the tube may not touch the rim, a day later: cut a paper disk 2 mm smaler than the rim, put it om the center and spray, last spray the rim edge. I some times paint the wheel bolts after the first layer by hand brush and then paint the rim colour around the bolts if it is an old not so sharp kit. So, I hope that Google translator dis the job..
  5. Yes He has written a lot of werry nice articles in Finish magazines some tventy five years ago, even today those would be state of art.
  6. I’ve written to Juha to encourage him to write a book but his answer was no. Maybe it helps if more people writes, maybe it’s not only Santa Clause who lives in Finland.
