To my eye the MFH kit tires look bulky for the 35's and detract from the overall look. From what I've seen of the Italeri 1/12 Alfa and Jason's Fiat kits they get the ratios spot on. Cant wait for the release and the press photos.

Hello Sera, Thanks for another wonderful How-To video of another great LSR car. YES, let us not forget or bury history. Looking forward to your SSC build. -

Great build and finish work Terry! Chris was "The Man" Have several of his kits and treasure them even though unmade. the midget unfortunately isn't one of them. Back in the day... 60s there was an article in Rod & Custom Models that had a how to chop down the Monogram midget kit to make a 1/24 (or was it 1/25) car. I want to say the Monogram kit was out of scale. -
Yeah, got to have the dirty pan! Sweet. Are you going to give it the trick slant plug heads?

Yes indeed the 1941 Zephyr has got to be one of the sleekest cars of the vintage era! Perfect project for the Ardun 12. I am partial to blue but the metallic green is pretty sharp too. Looking forward to seeing it come together.

Definitely all of the above. Your glass smooth finish shows the pod like lines in the low front views. Thanks for sharing! -

No shame there, fully rigging even a two masted Galleon is a daunting task. heck of a lot easier to dust too. -

As I recall the captain had an office in the front right (as we face the building) Kitchen behind that. and yep the sleeping quarters on the Left. From the arrangement of roof vents I would bet the locker room/ bath are behind the sleeping quarters, and probably equipment storage behind the kitchen. Oh, and Jack Webb was at one time married to Julie London (Dixi) after the divorce she married Bobby Troup (Dr. Early) both Jazz singers in the 50s. Must have been amicable if he cast them as leads at Rampart. -

How Cool is That! Fyi, the Station 51 (as it is called on the show, 127 in real life.) is still in operation on E. 233rd cross street S. Wilmington in Wilmington, LA harbor area. You see the 405 fwy in the background in the long shots of the station. The duffus on google street has his camera upside down. Still watch reruns when they come up. Thanks for the great Dodge concepts! -

Homex Turbine... Profile 24 in France just did a really nice cast resin in 1/24 scale (duh) Perhaps they would sell just the engine parts. Love this thread, thanks Pat! Then as I scrolled down I see you found one... -

Bikes in sand dunes what a crazy combo. Ricky had a great comeback after getting lost in that first stage, of course he wasn't the only one by a long shot. He may have had a second win if not for that. NBC is giving up most of their auto motor sports coverage this year and the Dakar coverage went to, what they are calling, the Olympic channel. To their credit the coverage went from 1/2 hr. to 1 hr. which was great since they had enough time to cover all the classes including Side x Sides Quads and Trucks. Does anyone know if there have ever been models of Quads, other than the early Honda 3 wheeler? -
Great work Pat! And you managed to pack it all up and move in the middle of all that.
