  1. Shopping for a Huggar Orange Camero. Or a Hugger Orange Camero. Or a Hugger Orange Camaro. Or a Huggar Orange Camaro. Eh, screw it! Anyone have an orange Gremlin?
  2. Good job, Chuck! Wish I could throw parts violently at my workbench and have them come out like that.
  3. Really sharp Mopar, Mike!
  4. Who wants to eat a 400 year old waffle? No amount of syrup is going to help that!
  5. I have twice found dehydrators at yard sales... but neither one had a thermostat. So I used Mike's photos, and a few trips to the hardware store until I had a regulator. I also drilled several 3/8" holes in the lid, and use one of them to hold the oven thermometer so I can keep it at a steady 105º
  6. Too perfect to be scale. I think it is REAL.
  7. What exactly is Hobby King? Is it a storefront? Is it strictly mailorder? Do they have a web site? Did you try calling them? They claim to have shipped already? Who was the shipper? Is there a tracking number, and if not, why not? Will they refund your money? Will they file a claim against the shipper? Be polite to them, but make sure they know that you will be on this until the matter is resolved.
  8. Yeah! I remember seeing the Baby Ruth T-Bird @ what was then NHIS, before the track had a Winston Cup date! I wasn't a fan of his, but I do like the car from before the days he would win (nearly) every race he entered

Craig... I am 100% certain that your daughter WILL spot that in her room! That Fluorescent paint will likely dry with a flat finish. The one model I painted with Fluorescent paint, I added decals b4 spraying the clear. BIG mistake! The decals will 'silver' on the surface. So please clear the Fluorescent paint before you add any decals! Good luck with that build! Be sure to wear shades when you handle it!
  10. Speaking of Michaels, why do they stock this... ...but not this? Because it's the Hawaiian that I want! Oh well, maybe at the NNL East.
  11. Several years back, one of the magazines had a feature on different kit engines, recommending which kit had the best example of each popular engine. Would anyone happen to know which magazine, and which issue? Thanks.
  12. That is a fine tuitorial! As for me, it looks time-consuming, but "do-able". I wasn't a lowrider fan, but I do have a profound respect for their style of paint design. I want to try one now.
  13. Amazing job on the Corvette. Would love some detail on how to do the headlight buckets... that is why I never built the Greenwood car.
  14. Possible graphic for eyeballs? ***Sheez. I just realized that will work... for the passenger side door! Any ideas for the drivers side?
  15. Terry, This is going to look great! Now you need to find a source for the correct Mooneyes graphics. Unlike Chips model, they need a white background. Perhaps finding the logo in black, print on white decal film? I have 2 diff Moon logos, both have the word "MOON" through the eyes (in one word through both eyes). You can never have too many reference pics!
  16. I am really enjoying this build! The rad roof rake, the fatties out back, and a Cad up front all make for a wicked ride!
  17. THIS JUST IN: TOMY Co to resell recently acquired toymaker RC2 to Anheuser Busch. NOW this thread makes sense.
  18. Link for story below. Hat tip to Dave Van for posting this on another board. http://www.businessweek.com/ap/financialnews/D9LSOLB80.htm
  19. Nice looking kit; modern frame & running gear. Downside is some parts have vague locators.
  20. I bet that is diff from the last few Mustangs you built! Really nice GT, Jeff!
  21. Boy, that is sweet!
  22. Anyone got a cigarette? Woooohhh.
  23. If not already available, can Rob's suggestion be pinned @ the top?
