Moebius - Now that the Comet is out, What's Next
Jon Cole replied to Swifster's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
Thinking... safe bets (and previously mentioned by others): AMC Javelin/ AMX. Been requested by many; well known, and not available in 1/25 scale for quite some time. Dodge Power Wagon. Iconic tough truck. Has military crossover potential. Those are the only ones I would guess. Though, who really knows? The Hudsons were a surprise, but those came to be because one of the principals at Moebius had or has a Hudson. -
ROUND2 SUPERBUG GASSER/ 57 FORD ISSUE

Listing it, or actually have it? -
Surprised anyone would delete their old posts. I don't even have enough time to read all the new posts, much less be concerned with deleting my old stuff. In the grand scheme of life, if everyone kept deleting the past, we would have no history. For instance, all those neat old car photos would be gone.

Perhaps they only do that for new tooling? Being a reissue, there should be no problems to check. Assuming, of course, they grab the correct number tool.

You did a fantastic job!

That one is a hit, right out of the park! Awesome build!

Next up from Moebius ?
Jon Cole replied to Greg Myers's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Actually, I don't think we have any 50's Mercury kits. The '49 Merc, afaik, is not the same as the '50 or the '51. The '51 has different sheetmetal in the taillight area. -
That looks so fine! Big, long, and low! The wheels look right on a car like this.

What's with the pics?
Jon Cole replied to Jon Cole's topic in Forum News and Questions (formerly: How To Use This Board)
Bob, thanks! I think that's it! I always keep my screen resolution @ 125%, as it just makes everything easier to see. Most time this is not a problem. But it does seem to be enough to distort certain pics. Most photo hosting sites afaik can reduce uploaded photos by whatever percent desired. If folks could do that, it would be a world of help. My eyes are not what they used to be, apparently. -
What's with the pics?
Jon Cole replied to Jon Cole's topic in Forum News and Questions (formerly: How To Use This Board)
This problem is getting worse. More people are posting photos that are large, square, and distorted. Note: SOME people, not everyone. I just don't understand why it is apparently just me? My browser is Edge 38 on Windows 10. -
The "slant" in the wide blower belt, I wonder if that is part of the molding draft? The angled edges are to aid in letting the part eject from the tool.

I did not know what a Woodlite headlight was, so I Googled it. If you are not familiar either, this is it:

Just the right amount of rust through! Not overdone. Great build!
