  1. Trans Am photo file: http://public.fotki.com/JCole/trans-am-racing!/
  2. Progress is always slow due to personal health issues, so it just felt so good to finally sit down, and start the masking process for the wood. I have to paint outside, in a dirt driveway. And yet, I was able to luck out. Nice, clean spray. Almost perfect day for outdoor spraying.
  3. Style wise, you nailed it! I would be proud of that.
  4. That's great news. Thank you much!
  5. Does Glad "Press 'n Seal" work for a masking medium for "large" areas, such as roofs, trunks, etc?
  6. Foam sanding pads. Like this. I'll just check tomorrow.
  7. I'm in need of foam sanding pads. Either a home building supply, or auto part store will hopefully have them. I don't need a full box, however. Anyone know of either that would sell things by the sheet? Do they still do that? Back in my auto body days (early 80's) there was a guy at SANEL's that would sell like that. I think he is retired now.
  8. Model building.... relaxing? Well, there is a first time for everything!
  9. Seems to me, it has something to do with the size that your photo host stores them at. If I knew how, I would tell you how to check your photo upload size, and how to adjust it. Someone here must know how. What is your photo hosting site?
  10. Tom does seem to have some "issues". Mountains out of mole hills, as they often say.
  11. Past weekend, black Lamborghini Murcielago w/ red outer rims over black wheels. Very rare to see around here.
  12. Go back to page 1. There are so far, three pages of differences between the two.
  13. Squished on my screen as well. But man, that is still one beaut of a Chrysler! Viewing on a typical 15" laptop.
  14. I had to switch to Windows 10 browser over the weekend. Now I notice several Photobucket pics not showing up here- just their standard "Ooops!" disclaimer. I hope it's them, and not my browser. Windows 7 was down to almost a crawl, none of my attempts to correct it worked.
  15. I would think a '51 Merc would be a given. There has been a saturation of the '49. The back of the '51 just looks so much better, IMHO.
  16. That's a really nice model! The top rated minivan by Consumer Reports.
  17. And the winner of the internet for today is..... Jesse! Tell him what he won, Bob!
  18. How did he get that so quick? It was announced maybe two weeks ago(?)
  19. Absolutely blown away that the Mustang was kitted without headlights. Intended age bracket don't mean squat- of course car guys of all ages want scale Mustangs. Versus the cost of including them? I get the whole "simple kit, easy for young builders" thing. But to ignore such a basic part, that's like asking half your customer base to ignore it. Because if I didn't know about guys like Frank casting the parts, I would say "no". It's just marketing common sense. Two little clear parts; or the lack of, kill the look of the finished product. Where is the marketing common sense here? When I walk in that hobby store, there are literally hundreds of choices before me. The 'stang kit? "No headlights? No, thanks".
  20. Such a strange occurrence- wheels melting from a chemical reaction with the tires. Has anyone ever tried wrapping the outside of the rim with BMF foil?
  21. Jim, this one is rock solid awesome! Great styling touches especially to the front and back. The under hood mods just reflects what the 1:1 manufacturers are doing. Not unusual at all.
  22. If you please, how did you do the black border around the orange? It's all so good!
  23. Clean, & well maintained. Your '65 is sweet looking. I owned four 'vairs. A daily driver '65 Monza 110HP auto 4-door in maroon w/ wires & tri spinners. A '61 Greenbriar that was kind enough to make it it to my house before it died. A '63 Spyder Coupe that just had a full mechanical resto. My plan was to do the body. And, the sad little early model Monza that was found in an animal barn. No floor. They should have carted me off in a straight jacket. Eventually became a parts car. We almost set the chicken barn on fire trying to get it to run. We were throwing frozen chunks of snow at the engine to knock down the flames. Ahhh! Good times!
