I see nothing but blank space with a tiny "x" in the upper left corner. Did the OP remove his pics? I will step out on the ledge right here and now to say, if the answer is yes, they were removed, then.... maybe stay off the Big Boy forums. It's like Harry said. It sounds like a case of thin skin.

The Coronado has a piece of acetate for a windscreen?

Like the '40 Ford nose on the Streetle, but not a big fan of that wart on its hind end. Would be so nice if they included stock front & rear lids. But I doubt that will happen.

I doubt there will ever be the demand for 3D printers, like there was for VCR's back in the day. VCR's proliferated because almost every household in America had one. I don't see a day when every household has a 3D printer. Not even close. The military figures looked good. So why do they look good, while Shapeway products readily admit their products are grainy to the touch? How similar was the units that printed each?

Just right color combo. Sweet!

Body sides are a large mass, so enforcement ribbing was added around the perimeter of areas such as edge of window openings, and doorways. Or I suppose they just felt it made it look better.

Questions about the new '30 Revell Model A kit
Jon Cole replied to stavanzer's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
Looks like the inner structure could be scratched with a little sheet plastic. Maybe out of tin over a home made die. Good a place as anywhere to give scratch building a try. -
The "Original", or "regular" foil seems to work as far as adhesion goes. Perhaps a little NOVUS 3 stage polish right to the film, still on the backer sheet would bring out the shine even more so than regular foil? Likewise, for aluminum, a super fine grit steel wool to the film still on the backer sheet. Perhaps Dullcote sprayed. For Matt black, steel wool chrome, then spray with matt black spray.

You're half way around the world from the US, and the accuracy is more spot on than many builders (including myself) do! Thank you for sharing that with us!

Modelhaus going, going Gone !!!!!!
Jon Cole replied to WoodyRDC's topic in Car Aftermarket / Resin / 3D Printed
Personally, I think the entire operation, kept whole, is just too much of an endeavor for one person (or even a couple) to take over. Unless they have experience doing the same thing, under the same circumstances. I doubt anyone out there can step up to that plate. The best thing for the Modelhaus, is to see it divided into categories. Such as, parts. Another category would be complete kits. Maybe another for wheels and tires. Whatever would work. Because the alternative is, bye-bye. No more resto parts. And maybe that will happen? Maybe as they start winding down and finishing their order fulfillment, they can optimize a plan for the inventory? It would be a shame to see it go nowhere. In their case, part of retirement planning, is to sell off the assets. So again, a big "Thank You" to Don & Carol. Sure gonna miss them. -
Kind of limited for positive locating of the rear axle. Anyone have any photos of built chassis?
