  1. As for the Foose F-100, the description at the link provided, describes in part: Nearly every panel was reshaped, reformed or cut. The cowl was sectioned, the hood was pie-cut, the front wheels were moved forward, the rear fenders were widened and raised up, the cab was section cut 3 inches at the rear window and the front fender wheel opening was moved up. A Roush NASCAR racing motor, serial number 1, was installed and one-off wheels were cut. http://www.chipfoose.com/ws_display.asp?filter=Ford_F-100
  2. Sorry, that Toyota just makes me think:
  3. Some great stuff there! Thumbs up for the Charger, and the Suburban will also be a "must have"! The windshield frame on the Foose Caddy looks strange, for some reason. Maybe all that silver at the base? Don't matter, I will definitely buy it.
  4. Nick, good job on the panel shaping!
  5. No headlights, no purchase. Omitting the clear headlights is just bad business sense. I don't care who they think the target customer is, if they omitted them once, who's to say they won't omit them again? They shoot themselves in the foot when they do this. Trust has to be earned, and once lost, is difficult to get back. It's the only game in town for a late model Mustang. I can live without the kit, and having to come up with an alternative just doesn't work for me. I have far too many other kits waiting for attention.
  6. Thanks for sharing this. Appreciated!
  7. Now we have a late 40’s Cadillac kit on the way- albeit a custom (see: Car Kit News & Reviews - Revell Q2/Q3 Flyer) The EldoRod by Foose Design. I already have a 1/24 diecast of it by Franklin Mint on my shelf. It’s a plum color, and is slightly different from the blue one shown, though I am not sure exactly what is different- it just is! So I was wondering why there is two different versions? Are they the same car? The plum colored is a pic of the Franklin Mint car I found on the internet; the blue one is the version that Revell has announced. I have seen a photo of the 1:1 scale plum version, I just don't have a photo.
  8. About time we got a vintage Cad. Is that the Foose EldoRod?
  9. Options! Remember, this can also be built as an exposed floorpan dune buggy. Which I think would look great with the steel wheel/ baby moon caps.
  10. Really an awesome build, Luis!
  11. Harry will be missed. I really believed he would beat this. RIP friend.
  12. Ron, can you help me on Satco Firestone w/w's? Did you cut away the center cross? If so, what did you use for a wheel? Same if you kept the cross, what wheel? I may go with this tire on a early 50's custom, I like the tire, just not sure what wheel can be pared with it, or what to do about that awkward tire center. Thanks.
  13. Man, ain't that just fine! Great color & detail.
  14. Aren't they now / were available in resin? Scandinavian source, IIRC.
  15. I have a set of Satco Firestone ww's, but am puzzled by how to use them. Just cut out the center cross? If so, why is there an axle hole in the center?
  16. Thinking... safe bets (and previously mentioned by others): AMC Javelin/ AMX. Been requested by many; well known, and not available in 1/25 scale for quite some time. Dodge Power Wagon. Iconic tough truck. Has military crossover potential. Those are the only ones I would guess. Though, who really knows? The Hudsons were a surprise, but those came to be because one of the principals at Moebius had or has a Hudson.
  17. Listing it, or actually have it?
  18. Surprised anyone would delete their old posts. I don't even have enough time to read all the new posts, much less be concerned with deleting my old stuff. In the grand scheme of life, if everyone kept deleting the past, we would have no history. For instance, all those neat old car photos would be gone.
  19. Perhaps they only do that for new tooling? Being a reissue, there should be no problems to check. Assuming, of course, they grab the correct number tool.
  20. You did a fantastic job!
  21. That one is a hit, right out of the park! Awesome build!
  22. John, this is all mind-blowing, out of this world AWESOME! You make it look so easy!
  23. Anyone know if Chris Roldan is still active in the hobby? He could scratch build so many components, a real treat to watch. Check out this little supercharged 4 banger by Chris...
  24. Great source for Hudson restoration photos... Wildrick Restoration, LLC Wildrick Restoration, LLC - Hudson Parts and Restoration
  25. That is 100% righteous!
