  1. He's right. The magazine should be renamed:
  2. Would Putin call it "Mini Meeski"?
  3. So this is available. Price is absurd, but if you want something unique for your display case, here you go. http://www.carscoops.com/2015/04/you-can-now-get-vladimir-putin-scale.html
  4. Oldest model pic I have is a pair of British aircraft. Spitfire, and a Lancaster: The oldest car model pic I have is this '74 Camaro. IIRC, I made the body mods from cardstock. Most graphics were hand painted.
  5. Looking for a source- either aftermarket, or better still a kit... with bumper mounted fog/driving lights. I am finishing up my build, really hoping to locate.
  6. Man, that is just sweet! It's got that "look" that we love.
  7. London, England - Fiat Chrysler Group, owners of the Hudson brand have announced the new 2017 Hudson Hornet. Motivating the all new vehicle will be the Twin-H Power, a turbocharged variant of Fiat's popular TwinAir 2 cylinder engine. Available will be Supermatic Drive, a wet clutch version of Fiat Chrysler's automated manual. The 2017 Hudson Hornet will mark Fiat Chrysler's return to the NASCAR circuit with the limited edition 7X sport model.
  8. So very close! If I find the decals, I may build it up grill as is.
  9. Model King will have a '69 short box version out this year. I believe this truck is very close to that. Would be real awesome if someone would do the decals for this: 1967 F-100 Holman Moody Shop Truck - Very original 1967 F-100 Ranger with some new updates, this truck was purchased new from Winebarger Motor Company in Elkin, NC in August 1967. This Ranger was ordered with a 352 2v with 3-speed on the column, Wimbledon white paint, and red interior. The truck is still mostly original inside and out, and wears all of its original chrome. This truck can be driven anywhere with no worries. The truck has nice patina and the hand-lettered Holman Moody logos really make this truck pop. The glovebox was signed by Lee Holman. This truck is almost new mechanically, below is a list of new parts installed: • Dennis Carpenter Fuel tank w/ sending unit • Master Cylinder • Wheel cylinders (4) • Rubber brake lines • Brake hardware including shoes front and rear • Original style seat cover • Head gaskets • Valve seats • Edelbrock Performer RPM Aluminum intake for 427-428 FE big blocks • Holley 750 cfm 4150 series Carburetor • Headers • Custom SLP exhaust (SCCA Trans-am racing theme) • Shelby valve covers and gaskets • Holman Moody style Air-cleaner • Water Pump • V Belt • Rubber fuel lines • Fuel pump and fittings • Heater Valve • Heater hoses • Radiator hoses • Thermostat • Coil • Spark plugs • Spark plug wires • Points • Condenser • King pins • Center drag link • DJM suspension "Dream Beams" drop I-beams to lower the truck • DJM suspension rear shackles and leaf spring hangers • Shocks front and rear • Radius arm bushings • Flywheel • Clutch • Vacuum Advance • U-Joints • Battery • Transmission Seal Kit • Push Rods • Fresh oil, transmission fluid, gear lube • Spider caps
  10. Just posted by Moebius on Facebook.... 1954 Hudson Hornet Coupe - 3rd week of April Ford Pickup - 1st week of May Ford Pickup, Model King exclusive Short Bed - 1st week of May
  11. Now that's a Raptor that visually pops! Nice job.
  12. Presume the '54 coupe is not out yet. Any chance we could at least get a pic of the box art?
  13. Wait- it has chrome headlight buckets, but no lens?
  14. Started the Hudson when it first came out (2011?). It's still on my bench. Lost interest, and then we moved. Recently got the bench set up. Should be getting sub assemblies together soon.
  15. Joe- thanks! This was hyped as the last Masscar, and technically, I guess it is. I like the idea of switching to a non judgmental show next year. The prices don't surprise me. They are always in that price range. Supply and demand. It's been a while since I attended.
  16. Hoping to see some photos here of their last show.
  17. Yesterday, I saw a car that was actually quite clean. No salt. No grime.
  18. Can anyone show me how the "equalizer lever" works? They seem to have three contact points, two of which I presume are cables. Do most pivot on the center? And if anyone knows Bill Coulter, he did his MCM Hudson build up with chassis lines, but the photo isn't clear enough to help. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  19. Bill, thank you a ton! That will help me line my Hudson chassis!
  20. I'm stuck. I need visual help on how to lay out e-brake lines, etc. on a 50's automobile. Any help would be appreciated.
  21. Fine looking Chebby.
  22. Anxiously awaiting the '54 Coupe. Wires gonna look so right on my '53! Any updates on arrival?
  23. You mean like this afternoon when I am trying to trim some Bare Metal Foil to a panel line, and I cannot get the blade to follow the edge for the life of me? Yeah, I know what you mean. So frustrating. As for glass, perhaps cover both sides with pieces of Post-It notes on both sides? Good luck. Keep on moving forward with it!
