  1. Looking pretty sharp so far. I'm no where near ready to try something like this yet. These old kits are a little pricey and I'm affraid I'd screw something up. I'll be watching this one.
  2. Kewl looking little Hot Rod. I'm diggin the V12. Got a color in mind yet? That Chevy pickup looks pretty sharp as well.
  3. Thanks Dave. I think it's going to look pretty kewl when I'm finished.
  4. Thanks Buddy. Thanks Carl.
  5. The body looks great. I'll be watching this one.
  6. Thanks Ray. Yeah I like the color its just not what I was originally going for. Thanks Buddy. Yeah the stance is just right. If I was building this as a 1:1 its how I would want it.
  7. I think its going to look fine James. Yeah that 427 would be my choice as well.
  8. Got the clear gloss lacquer on the body. Still need to wet sand and polish it.
  9. Did a little moc up to see if I got the stance right. Looks pretty good to me. I'm a happy camper
  10. Ok....everyone is gone, wife is taking a nap so I got back out into the garage and got the rear end all buttoned up.
  11. Same with me James. I'm just plugging along hoping for the best and expecting the worst.
  12. Yeah with the Grand-kids being here and (wife and I call them the two tornadoes) all the sweets and coffee it takes a toll on my nerves. It's funny about the paint. I worked all summer trying to get a nice shiny finish on the bodies I've painted and couldn't seem to accomplish that. This time I tried to get a more dull finish and it comes out nice and shiny. It baffles me. Yup. I cut off 1/8" on each side plus moved the control arms to the inside of the chassis.
  13. Well.....I got the rear control arms relocated to the inside of the chassis. I tried my best this morning to get the brackets for the rear shocks relocated but my hand shake to bad so I'm going to have to leave the shocks off. I hate to do this but I just can't seem to do it.
  14. Nice looking James. I bought the Revell Hot Wheels Monster truck a while back.
  15. Looking good James. Those big ol meats really make the truck don't they.
  16. Looking pretty good there Roger.
  17. Can't see the image Dave.
  18. That looks Sweet Luke. I just don't know how you guys do it with the Tamiya TS spray cans. I just spayed my 60 Ranchero with TS-41 Coral Blue yesterday and it will not come out looking as slick as yours after wet sanding and polishing. Great job.
  19. Nice looking collection of models. I really like the 65 Chevy wagon.
  20. Pretty kewl looking models Greg. I really like the 37 pickup but the red on the 29 roadster looks sweet.
  21. Nice looking Toyota. That dark Gunmetal looks pretty sharp.
