  1. Well I'm glad my post are doing someone some good.
  2. Really nice. The photos look pretty real. Great job. I just picked one of these kits up at Wal-Mart when they had their model display set up a few weeks ago.
  3. It all looks good to me fella's. Shinny paint ?
  4. Thanks Steve and Carl. I need to let the paint cure for 24 hrs the clear coat, wet sand, and polish.
  5. Well KK.....you worked long and hard at producing a nice model so I think you could do the same with a WIP don't ya think. I for one would like to see your builds in progress. I'm not very good at it but I do like other fella's to see what I'm up to on the work bench.
  6. Ok fella's, dodged a bullet on this one. I let the acrylic paint dry for about 45 min then I went of it with 2000 grit, cleaned it off, airbrushed a little darker color. It's still a little wet. Once it cures out it will look fine. I like it.
  7. Didn't see it in the primer so I'm assuming it's the paint. Looks like lepros ☺
  8. Ok....the humidity got down below 70% so I got the airbrush out. Started with the fenders and shot some Anita's Burgundy and it came out great. After cleaning out the airbrush I started painting the body parts and after a second coat I knew something wasn't right. The paint looked spotty so I stopped. I used the same process and all parts had the same primer. I ditched Anita's Vanilla Cream paint. I have another color that's a little darker so I'll give that a shot.
  9. That green looks pretty kewl KK. I don't think I saw a thread on your 34?
  10. I'm doing a little airbrushing so thought I would go ahead and get the 34 in primer. I love the details on the hood.
  11. That looks super clean Craig. Those added strips for the vinyl roof look nice. The wheels set it off nicely and the paint is killer.
  12. That 32 looks pretty kewl.

    1949 Ford

Is that the AMT 41 Plymouth? I have one in my stash.
  14. I've been looking the kit over this morning and it looks pretty nice. Like you mentioned Dave, I am going to lower the suspension a little no matter which version I build.
  15. Holy Smokes....I would have never thought you could shoot clear over paint that quick. That Maron is a lot lighter than what I was thinking it would be. I like the lighter color. Looks really nice.
  16. Nice looking Vette so far. My father in-law had a 66 1:1 that was Maroon. Looked pretty sharp.
  17. My local HL seems to have this kit every time I go there so I picked one up. Every other week sale for $17.99.
  18. Welcome to the forum and nice looking Cobra. I'd say your eye is pretty good on the stripping. You might want to take your compete mailing address out of your signature. City and State are fine.
  19. Nice. Yup.....I like the wrecker version.
  20. Thanks Alan. Its still early on as I still need to finish my 32 Sedan.
  21. Nice save on that one. Turned out nice.
  22. Really nice looking Dodge service truck. The view threw the service doors makes it look like a 1:1 pic.
  23. Great job. Love the photos. Reminds me when I was in the service back in the early 70's in Southeast Asia. That's how the local nationals did it.
  24. That's a big smooth looking ride. Nice wheels and stance. Great job.
