Yup.....I give it 24 hrs the spray the top coat. So if your primer is doing good then it's the Krylon paint. Its ether having a reaction to the Rust-Oleum paint or the Krylon just takes that long to dry. Never used Krylon paint myself.

How long are you letting the gray primer cure?

How about the old Willy's truck with the mailbox for an air cleaner. He can be at the show and check his mail at the same time ?

I use Rust-Oleum 2X gray primer (best primer I have found) unless I want the color to be lighter then I'll use a white base coat.

I'd say you are correct Peter. It seems to come out a little different every time I paint.

I painted my 56 body outside in the sun. The temp was 79 and the humidity was around 67%. Two days later I shot it with clear lacquer and the temp was around 72 and the humidity was about 62%. Seem to work ok. I'm still struggling with painting and figuring out the right temp and humidity. I'm getting better at it. Trying to get a few bodies painted for the winter builds.
