Wheels roll or not roll?
Tabbysdaddy replied to Biggu's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
I like the wheels to roll, even though I don't play with them as much as I used to. -
Error Marking Forum Read
Tabbysdaddy replied to Jim B's topic in Forum News and Questions (formerly: How To Use This Board)
Yes, I get that. Very annoying. I also get large spaces under the text I wrote and my pictures don't insert properly. -

Yea, I can't get to the main page. I had to pick from my history to get here. -

Panel Truck ? Sedan Delivery ?

If it has wide rear tires it might need to go in the drag racing section. -
I'd like a Maverick. I only have a Comet, because it was easier to get.

I thought you can use the hood and bumper from one of the recent 1/24 pickup releases. Big game country pickup, pickup with snow plow, sport stepside pickup.

They have included two sets of glass in many kits. It isn't an unreasonable request. It's nice when they do it.

Ollie's strike again
Tabbysdaddy replied to GLMFAA1's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I went across town to a different Ollie's to see if they had the Dodge pickup, and the Nomad. They didn't have them either, just the same ones as the other store. Oh well. -

Ollie's strike again
Tabbysdaddy replied to GLMFAA1's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I just came from the Ollie's near here. I wanted the Dodge VTS pickup, but they didn't have any. They had the others in the ad, and a few more. I picked up three kits I didn't really need pretty much as a thank you to Revell for putting them out there and to Ollie's for carrying them. I'll post them in the other thread when I get home. -
That's cool they lit a fire so everyone could keep warm.

"Customer states..."
Tabbysdaddy replied to Ace-Garageguy's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Yea I watch those. Some of them remind me of the purse on the choke lever story you told. -
The stepside is the most recently reissued after the two fleetside versions. Has it really been a few years? It seems like not too long ago I got mine from Hobby Lobby.

The side mirrors are separate pieces, so is the front roll pan. No stock bumpers included. Funny thing, it's very similar and at the same time very different from the wrecker truck. Like they copied it and made modifications or there might be a separate insert for it.

I like the Revell '76, even though it's inaccurate. My older Hot Rod version had a lot less flash than the newer release I have, hopefully they do something about that. I don't remember any problems with the front axle, mine's still supporting the truck. It does have those two piece tires though, but it has a bench seat.
