Tabbysdaddy replied to Sledsel's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I guess that's part of the "let the robber stab you to death" statute. -
A modelers obituary thread
Tabbysdaddy replied to bobthehobbyguy's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I think "Off Topic" is the most appropriate place to talk about death on a family oriented forum. It's one of the reasons I don't go in there. -
Yep, liking the Suburban.

I need info on the AMT/R2 Dodge Van kits.
Tabbysdaddy replied to Oldmopars's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
Cool, something I can help with. The width is the same but the Chevy is 1/8" longer. I measured the length at the center and edge of the windshield. -

Anybody seen or bought one of these?
Tabbysdaddy replied to Oldcarfan27's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I don't think their definition of "working" is the same as mine. Other than that, looks cool. -
What hood is this? (Real car, two pics)
Tabbysdaddy replied to LDO's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
You're all wrong. It's an El Camino hood. -
My son worked on a fire damaged house and gave me this that he found. No box top, instructions or decals but everything else looks like it's there.

AMT The Green Hornet Black Beauty Kit
Tabbysdaddy replied to martinfan5's topic in Car Kit News & Reviews
I still would like to see a Checker cab. They've been in tons of movies and shows, the one that comes to mind as them as a main focus is D.C. Cab. -
I'll buy one when I see one on a shelf.
