DeLorean Time Machine: WIP (Photos Restored)
Tabbysdaddy replied to David G.'s topic in WIP: Model Cars
I don't think it's just the tape. I built this one when it first came out. It's dusty but the spots aren't dirt. -

Those things are out of date before they are printed, price wise. -

It's only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. -

Such a beautiful engine, and you go and put a Fram oil filter on it. -

I took advantage of a surprise day off work and went to my LHS. They had two of the three kits I was looking for. They will order the other for me if I want, but there's never a shortage of kits I want on the shelf, so I picked a different one. I took a few pictures to show some of what I had to choose from.

History of Monogram's Squarebody GM Pickups
Tabbysdaddy replied to Fabrux's topic in Truck Kit News & Reviews
I just realized, I guess that means I can use the stock front bumper from the GMC truck with plow on the Mad Mudder. I forget what other stock parts are missing other than the top. I'll have to check. -

He was just mentioning that some were 1/20, then listed various scales in the 80s-90s category.

When they release them I buy them, I have three of those you listed. But yes, I've been waiting for more of my nostalgia kits to come out.

I would buy reissues of 80s and 90s cars and trucks, if they would reissue them.

What did you learn to drive in?
Tabbysdaddy replied to slusher's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I learned to drive with go-carts. Dad didn't drive at that time and step monster wouldn't let me, but Dad did buy a 78 Ramcharger that I got to drive once, first. Boy was she mad. School had Corsicas and a Beretta. Took the test with my Mothers 84ish little Ford Ranger extended cab. -

That happens to me randomly. -
Reissued kits
Tabbysdaddy replied to slantasaurus's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
I wouldn't mind the A-Team van version, even without the BA Baracus figure, but I'll take either.
