New Yenko Nova! ???
Tabbysdaddy replied to Venom's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Not the same. You don't see spaces with the spoken word. No table and notable are pronounced different, while no va and nova sound the same. -
Sounds cool.

Thanks. I go there fairly regularly and nothing yet.

I said I wasn't looking for a particular kit, not that I wasn't interested in kits from Atlantis. Thanks for being so helpful though. Maybe somehow you accidentally got put on Santa's naughty list. I would try writing him a letter.
-
I didn't say I wanted any particular kit, so you did miss something. I asked who stocks Atlantis kits on the shelf. By the way, Santa Claus has brought me many a kit.
-
So... nobody stocks Atlantis kits on the shelf. Unless they do. That clears things up. Snake, I think you missed the part where I said there are plenty of kits I want on the shelf of my local hobby shop, not just Hobby Lobby and Michael's. I buy things on the shelf. There is pretty much always something on the shelf that I want. No need to order anything.

Lindberg 1/20 Scale Kits..... any good?
Tabbysdaddy replied to JollySipper's topic in Model Building Questions and Answers
I built the GMC Sonoma and the Ford Explorer when they first came out. I liked them a lot. Lots of parts and lots of decals. I need to repair the Explorer and they're pretty dusty. -
I check all the stores that carry model kits around here, none have Atlantis kits on the shelf. I have a hobby shop that I'm pretty sure could order them for me, the "problem" is that they usually have $200 in kits that I want on the shelf. Since I don't allow myself to spend $200 every time I go there I choose from the shelf. I don't ever get the opportunity to choose an Atlantis kit because there aren't any on the shelf and I'm still leaving things behind I want.

What stores stock Atlantis models? I don't shop online.

Ollie's strike again
Tabbysdaddy replied to GLMFAA1's topic in General Automotive Talk (Trucks and Cars)
Thanks everyone for posting what you have been finding. I had pretty much given up but decided to check again because of what has been said. Maybe some places get certain ones at certain times, maybe it's to keep you coming back, but there were different kits today. I got the three Volkswagens and two Gremlins I wanted. Maybe they will get different ones in a few weeks and I can get the last two I want. -

I wanted a few Volkswagens and a couple Gremlins. Went to two different stores and none. I'm bummed. -
